   This tent was a birthday present. The recipient opened it at their campsite and out of the box, noticed that the stitching along the door was frayed to the point that it was held together by a single line of thread. Especially since this was at the doorway (a heavy use area) they returned it. Thankfully, the company accepted the return with no questions asked. Now, as to the tent itself, there was nothing but rave reviews for the overall design as well as the ease of setup for a single person. So, overall a great tent… with the need for better Quality control.

   So I have been wanting to try this for some years. I finally got my new tent in just a few days after ordering it. Really fast shipping! Well, I read all about the inferior quality, lack of ability to set up and zippers getting stuck. So I am a 68 yr old woman. I decided to set this up by myself at the park and make sure it had all its parts before taking it on the road. It took me about 45 minutes to unpack and figure out the correct way to lay it out and to set it up. I found it a normal tent with a high ceiling. Today was a breezy day but I staked down one side of the tent and had no issues. I was on top of a drive through campsite so I was unable to stake down the whole tent and since I was doing a test run it really didn’t matter. I really like this tent and hope to get many years use out of it as it appears to be of a quality construction. It fit my 2013 Prius excellently.

   Very awesome tent! Perhaps a magnetic strip in the lining of the part that goes over the car to completely stop mosquitoes, but only one got in and he was dealt with severely.

   This tent lasted one weekend in Northern English weather and was destroyed.
   The first day it was windy, not very, less than 20 mph. The wind buckled the the two poles and ripped the SUV/truck connection tunnel at the stitching around the strap connections.
   The next day it rained quite heavily. Water came in through the floor and roof. Over 8 hours we had 1/2″ of water in the bottom.
   Don’t buy this tent unless you are camping on a serene Californian sunny beach with no prospect of any adverse weather conditions. Otherwise its just fine.

   Well-made and sleeps two or three large tall people. Works well without SUV. The SUV side is made of the same rainfly material but a bit heavier, and waterproof door closes. Just clip a few SUV straps together and pull out on the provided guy line to make the SUV tent wall taught without an SUV.

   Cons: Almost impossible to get the tent and fly and poles back in the original bag. Buy a bigger bag for this tent.
   Buy better stakes, the provided stakes are kind of flimsy.

   This worked out for me. I have a Model Y and it linked up to it pretty well with no drama. And it’s mad spacious inside. But I also works well as a standalone tent which was my wain thing. It was also easy to put together. I used for Coachella car Camping, and have camped out in Tahoe a few times.

   Bought this for Honda odyssey mini van and it fits great. Has a long enough porch exterior and it doesn’t pool water. But it’s not 100% waterproof. It has to have a downpour before it leaks though. Kept us dry in normal rain. Big enough for weekend camping trips for 2 people and 2 dogs.

   After first set up it was easy to put up and take down. Plenty of room in tent to hold extra items while you sleep in back of vehicle. We used this with our 2015 town and country minivan. It worked great.

   The door zipper can get tricky and I’m afraid of the quality and having it break but so far so good. One of the poles was broke but we were able to piece it back together, just happy we set it up at home first so we could fix it.

   So I ordered this tent in April to go on a camping trip in September 2023. All was good, tent was great. Fast forward to this year, 2024. I took my tent out to go on another September camping trip the week before going. As I’m putting up the tent to make sure all was good — SNAPPP! One of the corner to corner poles snapped and was completely shattered. As I inspect the pole, throughout the entire pole, it was split. I looked at the other pole — completely fine. Of course Napier only warranties the tent for 1 year from date of purchase. I ended up having to purchase another tent. The new tent has aluminum poles.
   I used the tent for one outing – 4 days!
   Napier – Your customers deserve BETTER!!

    Compré este artículo hace casi un año. Después de dos usos con lluvia moderada puedo decir que es casi inservible si se pretende usar con lluvia. Las filtraciones ocurrieron por todas las costuras cercanas al piso, al grado de encharcar el interior sin que hubiera filtraciones por el techo.

    This is an awesome tent for a family with or without an SUV. Attaching it to the SUV is a great idea to extend the tent, specially if it rained you’ll be nice and dry in the SUV but the material is great that we did not encounter any seepage or water penetration. The whole camping stay we did not bother attaching it to the 4Runner, because if we have errand it’s easy to hop in the car and go. Setup is very fast 10 min maxed. The size and height are very good. Could easily fit 6 people. What surprises me is the height of the tent you could probably put a portable bunk bed. Materials used are great quality; fabric, hardware. The color is OK would be nice if they have camou color. Price at $229.99cdn is OK.
