   Easy setup which could be don on sand or grass. It can be done with 2 or 4 poles.

   We used this tent on a 2 week trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The Outer Banks are barrier islands which can get very, very windy. The video I included was taken on a day we had 20+ mile per hour winds which is not uncommon at all. I was skeptical that this tent would provide the promised shade and withstand the strong winds and after 2 weeks of daily use, I am a huge fan. The tent is very easy to set up and stayed in place all day, every day, for 2 weeks. Lay the tent flat, fill the sand bags and bury them, then put the poles in place – it’s as easy as that. Equally easy to put it away at the end of the day. We used the poles at each of the 4 corners but you have a ton of flexibility in how you situate the poles depending on the amount of shade you want and the direction of the wind. I highly recommend this tent. We liked it far better than the umbrellas we used in the past and won’t be going back to umbrellas.

   Fuimos a una playa llamada la Ventana justo por los enormes vientos que tiene, incluso se practican deportes como el skysurfing. Resistió sin ningún daño, claro que debes contemplar la dirección del viento para su ubicación, incluso fue suficiente llenando los compartimentos de arena sin poner las estacas, porque por el vuelo no pudimos llevarlas.

   PROS: Good Sized, nice quality stitching and material, thick with “rip-stop like” very stretchy cloth, includes nice carry/storage bag, stakes, long enough ropes with plastic clip loop end, and fast assembly well fitting strong alum pop together internal elastic cord posts with removable pointed ends. CONS: Post have annoying thin brittle plastic protective sleeves on them which will not remain and will cause a considerable amount of beach debris/trash (may want to peel them all prior to first use), bit heavy if it’s a long walk to the beach site, needs sand or weights for the bag ends to assist set up, says to fill pipes with sand also, but, this will rapidly decrease probably jam up their nice fit and functions (seem strong enough empty), hard to set up with just one person especially if it’s already windy, ideally 4 people or at least 2 would make setup faster and easier, short term same day use only, not so good for overnight with rain expected or long term use in other venues like long term camping sun shelter, (rain Amy puddle in the stretch material and damage or knock it down), may be a bit low on the beach depending on how far you set the supports into the sand. The stakes are nice screw I type, but are thin plastic and probably won’t hold in very loose sand (you’ll need larger dog chain type screws in deep soft beach sand). Overall good value and would make a nice gift.

   The vBrate Beach Tent Sun Shelter – UPF50 Beach Canopy Portable Sun Shelter 2 Aluminum Poles is well made with high quality material. The poles are shock-corded and are strong. The canopy has excellent stitching with no hanging threads or gaps. The edges are folded over for strength. The color is strong and vibrant and even throughout the entire canopy.
   There is a well written, easy to understand instruction sheet.
   The idea of pouches at the bottom of each leg for sand (or other ballast) is really great. While it comes with stakes, if you have something to put into the ballast bags you will not need the stakes.
   Set up for this is under five minutes.
   When set up it can withstand a small to moderate amount of wind, depending on your ballast. But I drop the two poles until the wind is past just to be on the safe side.

   Beautiful colors, and I really like the versatility of using all 4 poles. In this configuration, you can fit in more beach chairs/people in the shade (but not all day). Shift modes to only using 2 poles and it is perfect for 2-3 people to stay in the shade most of the day. You just have to re-orient the back side to follow the sun.

   What would have made this even better would have been to have 2 sand bag legs at each corner (there are some that do have this feature). This one only comes with 1 sand bag leg at each corner. It’s sufficient, but a total of 8 vs. 4 legs would be more stable (especially if very windy). Note that having 8 legs does also increase the trip hazard potential so if 4 works for you …

   But overall, this is a really nice unit with vibrant colors.

    This is super easy to use, just lay out the four corners, fill with sand, insert the poles and voila you are protected from the wind gusts at the beach! I really like the back of it stretches out and down so we can have a little beach fire and use this as a wind blocker.
    If the wind is really strong you can bury the ends below the sand surface for more stability.
    It comes with a nice bag to store your poles and shelter fabric.

    Purchased for Aruba trip. Boy did this save the day when all chairs/umbrellas were all reserved. Easy to put together and kept us cool from the 90degree heat. Aruba being 12 degrees North of Equator, sun was very intense. Able to sustain 10mph winds. Fit 7 easily
