My husband and I like the fact that it comes in its own backpack, makes it easy to carry. Also, the backpack is spacious enough that you can include a few beach essentials. Not having to lug an umbrella or a tent along with a cooler, is great!

We used this for the first time on our weeklong vacation to Virginia Beach. I went to the beach each day and watched other struggle with their tents while the Red Suricata Multi-Terrain was light and easy to set up. I was always done before others that started setting up before me. My 9 year old could carry the backpack when we were leaving the beach because it’s so light. Customer service was fantastic. I couldn’t find the hooks that came with it, so I used the online system and was sent new ones that arrived within a week. We have also now used the tent while camping and I actually love that the sandbags just became small warning flags when stakes into the ground. I did find that nailing larger tent stakes was easier than the screw in stakes that came with this, but that was because the ground was so hard where we were. I’d buy this again and my parents already purchased one for their beach outings.

I ordered the 10×9 but received the 7×7. The floor cover should have been included but it was not. The poles got stuck in the screw anchors due to sand. Had I received the correct order the product would have been awesome. Great product but short on handling order.
