It’s big inside, the materials are nicer, construction quality is high, and it sets up in just a couple minutes with the pre-attached fly. Once it’s set up it feels pretty rigid, so unless I’m camping in a tornado I probably won’t use the guy out lines. I haven’t had it out in a rainstorm yet, but the waterproofing seems solid. The only thing I don’t like is the center hub on the poles; that might get cut off and replaced with a simple plastic hook on the tent. Super happy with it!

A lightweight, yet tough tent that I was able to put up by myself. Easily secured and can endure light wind. Good waterproofing and it comes with a convienent carry bag. Fantastic for the longer hiking trails. No problems with sun fade or mildewing. The zipper works smoothly. A thoughtful gift for the avid backpacking trekker. A nice size that fits two average size folks comfortably. Fair pricing. I love the helpful reflective ropes.

Easy to setup and great size. I’m 6’4″ and am often disappointed with interior sizing where I can’t sit up comfortably of lay down with pushing on the walls. I can easily sit up in the tent with several inches to spare. The length is just good enough, I don’t touch the sides though when I’m in a sleeping bag, the bag does touch. The sides are steep on this tent, making the interior room pretty consistent the entire way up the wall.
I couldn’t tell for sure from the listing if this had two doors, I can confirm that it does, which is highly desirable. The fly stays attached to the tent for storage, making it even easier to setup. It is a free standing tent, though the fly doors need to be staked out for a complete setup.
This isn’t the lightest tent on the market, but that’s because it is very roomy. For me for most weekend backpack trips it’s worth the extra weight. This makes for a good car camping tent too since it is so roomy, there’s not much of a compromise in storage size vs comfort.
