I really like this tent. Plenty of room for a 2 person tent. Plenty of storage including mesh storage in the ceiling. One of the things I have to have and maybe it’s just me, is a ceiling loop so you can hang a light. It’s a pet peeve of mine. Price was right as well. Very very simple and quick to setup. Especially if you are by yourself in bad weather. The only minor thing I don’t like about the tent are the plastic windows on the rain fly. Might be an issue if you like 100% privacy. I easily fixed the problem with some painters tape so it comes off easily and doesn’t leave adhesive on the fly when you take off the tape. I now have several Alps Mountaineering products and they are quality products.

It’s so easy to put this up and the material it’s made of handles rough wind and heavy rain really well! I love the small window because it gives me some privacy and yet also opens up the world outside when I need to peek out. I also enjoyed the experience of stargazing and waking up to a wonderful view of the morning when I didn’t have the rain fly up. The only thing I didn’t like were the aluminum stakes because they easily bent, but overall this was a good buy!

During the search for a two person backbacking tent I did a LOT of research and I think I found the perfect balance between weight, space, and price. At 5lbs 9oz this is not the lightest 2 person tent but it by far the best value for your money. Many other 2 person tents I had found weighted less but cost much more and had less floor space. My fiance and I don’t mind carrying an extra pound or two if it means we have space to move around a little inside the tent. That being said, there is no room inside the tent to keep your packs. On each side of the tent there is a vestibule formed by the rain fly to store your bags and other gear.
Overall the tent is easy to set up and take down and between the 2 vestibules and gear loft has plenty of storage. I would recommend this to any couple looking for a 2 person backpacking tent.

Heavy bugger but ticks all the feature boxes. Very nice tent at an unbeatable price.

I bought this tent last Christmas for my daughter, She uses it when camping with the Venturing Scouts (part of the BSA). She enjoys the tent greatly. From torrential rain to light snow it has held up greatly. She and I would recommend this tent highly.
