   This is a rain fly for a hammock, allowing you to essentially pitch a tent over your hammock. Looking forward to trying it out for real, but it looks like it will work well.

   I bought this product after seeing the one I friend had camping a few weeks ago, they bought this exact product in grey and it had a silvering layer on the inside to help with sun protection, one of the main reasons I purchased it. I ordered in green and then in gray but neither had the expected silvering. I also noticed from the other reviews that the green color has not been consistent with a lighter green received vs the more army green that mine was. Update: I reached out to customer service and got a quick reply. They explained that the silvering added weight and the design was changed to make it more backpacking friendly. They also offered a discount due to not meeting my initial expectations. I did get a chance to try these out last weekend on a recent camping trip and the build quality was good and they worked well, updated review to reflect the good customer service and overall quality of the item.

   Stood up to 7 hours of torrential rain and I didnt get wet. After 7 hours of torrential rain of course there was some seeping which i knew would happen but it wasnt soaked on the inside just damp when I ran my hand across. Very happy with this purchase and will by again if I ever need a new tarp again.

   The Hammock and rain tarp is made well. The storage bag is a nice easy way to carry it around. The setup is pretty simple and takes no time at all. The quality is great and it’s sturdy and durable. I would recommend this product

   For one, the actual waterproofing of the rainfly is great and where it covered perfectly, it kept super dry. However if it’s not hung just right, rain will absolutely reach your hammock as it’s just barely large enough to protect it

   They do not provide the correct number of stakes and guidelines for you to hang this properly, 2 too few for both, as there are 8 anchor points and 6 stakes and you need 10 guidelines and are provided 8. Not to mention all of what is provised is short.
   I’ll be keeping this because I have extra straps for it to hang and figured a way to use 6 stakes for 8 anchor points, but for the inexperienced hammock camper this isn’t the perfect purchase

   The photos show a hung tarp with the underside the same color as the top when the bottom is a reflective silver. They do show 1 small picture of that feature.
   It is heavy and well build. But am very unhappy with the color. It does not blend with the rest of my gear. The color does not even match the pictures shown.
