   This was a bit of a gamble because condition is subjective and some reviews state they got a new one. Mine looked new until I saw the repairs on the face screen and still I’m giving it 5 stars.

   My down bag fits nicely inside, sort of like it was sized for it. The fabric is lighter weight than the old forest camo bivy and has a full wrap around zipper to keep the bugs out.

   I like the zipper extending part way down the left side. If you’re right handed a left zipper gives better/faster access or exit and this bivy does that.

   If you need to get to your rifle in a hurry remember, left zipper for right handed people!

   Like new is definitely like new! US Army supply chain is notoriously behind on fielding gear. Funding is an issue?! Anyways, by far a better product than my issued ACU pattern (dumb gray digital) bivy. This one is lighter and allows for breathing via the skeeter net. Hopefully no gear Nazis come after me for not doubling down on stupid and going with outdated unserviceable gear. Kudos to the USMC! From time to time y’all get it right and this bivy is going be of those…the right piece of gear.

   Specifically to my seller, thank you. Looks like it’s never seen the dirt. Ever. Awesome product. Such a sleeper item. I love it.

   I’d estimate half the weight of the old Bivy cover and a screen to keep the bugs out. Comes with built-in little bendies to keep the net off your face. Waterproof until it isn’t.

   Very happy with the purchase. This is a great summertime early fall grab and go bivy to sleep out on the ground, backpacking and traveling lite. Light rain and dew no issues. Packs up very small. Love it for what need.
