   Does what it needs to overall, but it’s pretty thin which makes me question it’s longevity. Only used in very light drizzle and did just fine, but with some ‘trial tests’ in exposing to higher water burden, does seem to allow some water to seep through.

   Well made tarp with durable quality fabric. The tie down straps include metal rings instead of grommets that are prone to pull out. There are eight of these tie downs. The product description said it included 4 stakes, however I received 6 stakes and 6 guy lines. The tarp stakes, as well as the guy lines, are glow in the dark, and the guy lines have reflectors woven into the paracord. Very helpful to avoid them becoming a night time tripping hazard. The option to open the zippered windows makes this tarp setup unique, and adds additional versatility. I find this particularly helpful when it is used over a picnic table to let in light. Like having skylights. This tarps performance is excellent compared to other competitor products in this price range, making it a good value for the money.

   I purchased this rainfly twice. The first time was in July ’23 and I was pleasantly surprised after putting it up over my hammock the first time. The main ridgeline tabs are metal and they are secured firmy to the tarp. It was a breeze to set up utilizing ratcheting rope hangers and held up quite well over a several day deployment. The material is durable and lightweight with an almost reflective underside to it. I was thoroughly impressed with this product, especially for the pricepoint. It is inexpensive, not cheap. When I seen the reduced price during the last Prime Days (Oct ’23) I did not hesitate to purchase another for my other hammock setup. I also would not hesitate using this for a tarp shelter over a mosquito tent. I find it to be a durable cost effective tarp. I also find it cool that zenicham chose to reach out to me wanting feedback on their product. They seem to be genuinely concerned with the quality of their product and have no doubt that if I did have a problem, they would not hesitate to make it right.
   Also noted, I have no interest in this company nor was there any other incentive to review this product other than my own satisfaction with this product.

   The material feels sturdier than others I’ve used, with reinforced corners and metal hooks that made setting it up really easy. I liked the clear plastic windows that can zip open to let in some light. While it’s a bit bulky for backpacking, it’s great for car camping and can double as a roof over a picnic area or even as a tent. I tested it in a light rain, and it held up great, though I’m not sure it could handle a heavy downpour.

   I got this camping tarp with zippered pu windows to use over our little kiddie pool. It’s great for adding some shade to keep the pool water cooler, and to keep the sun out of my eyes when it’s too strong. Clever idea to add windows to the tarp, not sure if it’s a design that’s always been out there, but it’s the first time I’ve seen it. I like it a lot. Quality is alright. The tarp itself is a good thick fabric. I wish the zippers for the windows glided smoothly. They are more scratchy, and I do worry a little that it could mean the zipper quality is not the best. But, neither of the zippers for the windows have broken or given me issues opening or closing. The pu for the windows seems like good quality, there aren’t any rips or holes in them, so I’m happy. The guy lines are thick and really durable. I love the bright green color, I’ve already decided to keep them in my gear bag to replace some older guy lines. The bright color is perfect for nights, no more tripping. Glad I got it. It works for what I got it for, and I hope it lasts for a few years.

   Because of the plastic windows this tarp is quite large when packed up and therefore only practical for car camping. I would consider it more of just a universal camping tarp instead of a hammock tarp. It is well made and of good durable material. It has reinforced corners with metal buckles for guy lines or staking. It also comes with nice bright and quality guy lines, as well as pretty decent large stakes. The windows are a little gimmicky to me, but I’m sure a lot of people would love them. They are unfortunately very wrinkled, as all plastic windows always are. The hot sun can help that a little though. This would be great as a table cover, tent awning, or something like that. I’m happy with it overall and would recommend it for no more than it cost.

   I usually get about one yr of consistent use out of my rain Flys and I’ve tried redcamp, psy outdoors, wiseowl,…. all Fail at the seams. Either at the corners or center. Used this one last night for the 1st time and it poured!! Stayed dry and finally one that doesn’t collect condensation on the under side. I’m very pleased and feel this one will last a while!!! Thanks

    It’s probably not the best for backpacking as it’s thicker than other tarps, but in fairness it’s a lot bigger than something you would probably backpack in anyway. For any other outdoor activity, camping a few days in the woods or backyard, quick set up for the fishing hole or any other place you need shelter. The material is thicker than most but still light for what it is. Smooth finish, completely waterproof and lined inside with reflective material to keep the heat in. Great for emergencies too. Mine will go in the boat. I have a small skiff I go island hopping along the shoreline with and I will be setting this up using the oars for end posts to keep the weather off. It should be perfect for the 16 foot by 7 foot flat bottom. Five stars.
