Using this with my MSR Hubba NX Solo. The fit is correct. Having the little cord loops at the corners makes it easy to use. The footprint has a built-in pouch permanently sewed onto it. At first this seemed like a good idea, but it’s just in the way. Where do you put it when you’re using the footprint? I would store it in the tent’s stuff sack, but the footprint’s pouch kind of forces you to fold it a certain way, which isn’t really a size that fits the stuff sack well. I would have preferred not to have the pouch at all. However, if you’re one of those ultralight people who sleeps under the fly with no interior tent, then I can see how the pouch would be more useful.

I wish when I purchased the newer hubba that it came with it’s own footprint that fits with the poles, as they used to. I owned a hubba for a long time before this one and the footprint with that one was superior. I will however adapt to capitalism, efficiency, and it’s drawbacks.
