   We enjoyed the first few uses out of this, especially during the heat of soccer season. It could comfortably fit and shade our extended family, who came to cheer on our oldest. Though around the 5th time we used it one of the attachments at the top came out of place. We noticed the only way to get the attachment back in was to unscrew the top and maneuver it back in. It still somewhat is functional, but the ease of use is not longer there. It seems the build quality was lacking slightly for ours.

   The straps rip away at the connection to the sun shade material. I would not purchase this again. We opened and used the tent twice and now it is unusable.

   I got this for my son’s baseball games to shade the team from the sun. Got it all set up and they loved it. Then a small gust of wind came and the strap keeping it down broke and the whole thing got messed up. Waste of money.

   So far so good. The canopy is fairly easy to set up and take down. I had read some reviews about the wind being an issue. The first day we set it up the wind was strong and the anchors held well.
   Had been looking for an easy to haul and easy to setup & break down option for our soccer team and this fits all the needs!

   We got to use it this past weekend and it was perfect to keep the kids cool on a sunny hot day. Easy to set up and once you get the hang of closing it, it makes this a must have for any team.

   I wanted the canopy instant up, but strong enough to stand in the wind. I wanted it to be big-sized, but light weight and easy carry with and manageable. This Franklin Sports Sunblocker Shelter did make me satisfied. I would like to make sure it’s working before I take it to the beach. So the very first use was in my living room, it was not so smooth than I expected. It took sometime to follow the instructions. It opened easily but it was so so struggling for two adults to take it down, despite being experienced campers and carefully following every steps in the instructions. It just did not go down. My husband luckily took it down after many tries, with no idea how he did. We had another practice setting the canopy up the other day, then it happened again. It stayed open in the backyard and unable to take down. My husband viewed several videos on Youtube, trying to get the point to close it! After trying everything we could, he used some WD40 lubricate spray on the folding hub. It magically works!! Setting it up and down was effortless after a few practice then. Focus on the canopy itself, the material are good quality and the poles are very well made. The canopy is UPF 50+ protection from UVA and UVB light, helping you stay cool and out of the harmful sunrays. With the large screen window, the air pass through and circulates, staying nice and cool while keeping you out of the sun. It’s perfect for beach or the sideline of a sports game. Its roomy interior is spacious! We, two adults with three kids, were able to put one big blanket and four beach fold chairs under it, while still having room in the back for coolers, and comfortably sit. The canopy came with its own carrying case. It’s lightweight for its huge size, which is helpful when you’re hauling stuff to the beach. Overall, I was glad with the product. It is perfect for my needs. It allowed us to spend much more time on the beach.

   I am a mother to 6 kids and a competitive swim coach. I originally got this to use with my team at swim meets. Meets go all day and have little to no shade, so kids tend to get crispy. Unfortunately this year thanks to covid (boo hiss) the meets were canceled or had strict social distancing. So even though I didn’t get to test this with the team, I was able to test it with my 6 kids, and it is exactly what I needed.
   It is heavier than the smaller sunbrellas I have, but it also does the job of about two of them so it’s a fair trade. If you have other things to carry, you will probably be making two trips. It does set up fairly easily . . . I found it easier to have a helper. I found it was best to use some strategy when setting up to maximize sun, although this does throw a great deal of shade. It has stakes to help keep it down, but if possible we found it best to place the back to the wind, otherwise a strong wind will pull it up and throw it flying just like the sunbrellas.
   It appears well made and we weren’t able to find any manufacturing flaws.
   The added spf is appreciated for long days that kids are washing sunscreen off and forgetting to reapply. Also the large wind vents are a plus on hot days.
   Worth the money for us!
