   When we go to the beach, our focus is simply to lounge and relax. I truly enjoy setting up a space with all of my beach gear/furniture so we can take in all the joys of the outdoors in comfort. This canopy has been a wonderful addition to our beach set up, it’s better than any others I’ve seen. I love how large it is! It’s a huge space for the two of us and I could see it fitting 6-8 people. I also love the extra features it has, like the “skirt” around the bottom edges that you can cover/bury in the sand so that the canopy doesn’t flap and make noise in the wind. I really like that it has 4 side walls, especially because we tend to stay at the beach for 6+ hours. We can simply put up a wall and block out the sun when the shade moves. I will say, it does take some work and time to set up and take down. However, it’s worth it to me because I end up with the best canopy on the beach. It’s very important that you open it up and even put it together for a trial run before you take it to the beach the first time because there is quite a bit of paper packaging folded in it that needs to be removed before first use. You’ll also want to remove the 4 side walls before taking it to the beach, otherwise, the wind will inflate the canopy and blow it around. We didn’t know better, so we struggled with it the first time. The stakes that come with it are very simple and kind of cheap, but we have not had any issues with the wind moving it. I highly recommend it! We see so many people struggle to work with the shortcomings of the typical umbrella or pop up canopy and it reminds us of how good we have it with our set up.

   This OakPedion 10 X 10ft Beach Tent Sun Shelter UPF 50+ Beach Canopy Shade for 6-8 People is a nice item to keep in the trunk. It works great at the beach but also comes in handy for camping if you want to set up a folding table inside of it for food.

   Assembling is easier if 2 people do it but 1 person can do it if needed. Taking it down can be a pain if you’re not expecting the spikes in the poles to get stuck. Also, the netting can pull away from the zipper easily if yanked too hard. Other than that, it’s a nice tent.

   At first it takes long to assemble, after that it’s a breeze, definitely need 2 people when assembling, the quality is good, very impressive in high winds it held up very strong, built sturdy with the options of zipper with mesh screen is pretty cool, for sure got many compliments on it and had people turning their heads every time, overall very satisfied with this purchase!

   Great for camping. I love the cosmetic style of this tent. The inside is very tall and spacious! My only issue is that setup and takedown is a bit more work than I expected. I do not beleive that I will be able to set this up on my solo camping trips.😓
   The first rain we had it leaked a little, but i think it just needed to be broken in because the next heavier rain it did not leak.
   Also the bag it comes with is oversized so it was very easy to roll up and put back into the bag.
