   Not meant for ultralight backpacking ( too heavy). If you don’t have to carry it too far; this thing is about the best you will ever find. High quality, waterproof, plenty of room (~10 ft X 10 ft). built to take the abuse I give my gear.

   Pros: -durable material -seam tape in vital areas -lots of anchor points -reinforced corners with double row stitching (came in handy for me as one row failed) -many configurations to explore for beach, wooded or exposed camping situations -includes a set of guy lines with tensioners Cons: -colors limited on whatcampingtent.com -stakes are flimsy and insufficient unless you have sturdy topsoil. They all bent or broke -found needle holes in one attachment point area but were covered by seam tape so no leaks -one corner reinforcement stitch came undone on first outing. I’d imagine this is an outlier and product to be replaced so it’s all good. Maybe spring the $6 for the warranty

   Sehr schönes Tarp.
   Vorweg: bisher habe ich es nur im Garten aufgebaut, meine Tour damit steht noch aus.

   Die Verarbeitung ist sauber und macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Das Material ist absolut glaubhaft wasserdicht. Durch die große Quadratische Grundform lassen sich alle gängigen und spezielleren Aufbautechniken anwenden. Es ist sehr angenehm leicht und es reicht für zwei Personen und deren Gepäck aus.

   Ich habe mir zusätzlich ein Pack mit 12 Alluminium Heringen gekauft. Da die 4, die standardmäßig dabei sind, mir zum einen zu wenig und zum anderen zu schwer sind (fürs Wandern nur mit Rucksack). Die 4 Spannleinen, jeweils mit einem Plastikspanner aufgefädelt, welche dabei waren, sind vollkommen ausreichend (bei Aufbauten ohne Baum, nur mit Wanderstöcken getestet).

   Vielleicht erweitere ich die Rezension nochmal, wenn ich die Tour gemacht habe.

   Le produit est bien entendu conforme à la description.
   Les nombreux points d’attache sur toutes les longueurs et au milieu, c’est vraiment le top. Ca rend cette bâche très versatile. On peut même la monter en canadienne.
   Le nylon a l’air très résistant, je me réjouis du prochain orage pour tester ça
   Le colis est arrivé beaucoup plus vite que prévu;
   Le seul point pour lequel je ne mettrai que 3 étoiles, c’est pour l’emballage. La bâche arrive emballée dans un simple plastique. je n’ai pas eu d’incident, mais elle aurait pu se faire déchirer facilement dans le transport.

   You get what you pay for with this tarp, it is very robust, durable and lightweight. Easy to pack away, many tie off points make getting it set up a breeze. Amazing product.

   J’ai acheté cet article pour éviter de prendre une tente lors de mes sorties bivouac.

   Ce tarp est conforme à la description et fait très bien son job. Une fois déplié, il est suffisament grand pour permettre à 3 personnes de s’abriter et dormir.
   Je n’ai pas encore pu le tester dans des conditions difficiles, mais le nylon et les oeillets semblent solides.

    This tarp is built like a tank! It is very rugged. I used it backpacking as my top tarp with a ground cloth in cold weather. This kept the snow out of my sleeping area and kept the condensate from my breath off of me and my gear. I did have to shake the ice from the condensate off of it before packing it up.

    Nice thing about the square tarp is there are so many pitches. You can find something for any weather or climate.

    This is heavier than an ultra light tarp but is much more rugged. It’s worth the extra weigh. Also, its small enough to fit into a day pack.

    The most well-designed tarp I’ve owned. Strong, easily covers a large picnic table, and the multitude of tie down points make it easy to use in all sorts of asymmetrical applications. Less than two pounds. I wish I’d bought the larger one right off, but I’ll buy that one as well. Very satisfied. This tarp and a pair of “Green Elephant Poles” make a great combo.

    Great color selection and weight, heavy duty construction, and good reinforcement at all the tie points. There are just a few quality of life issues that keep this tarp from getting 5 stars. 1. No grommets! You can see in one of the photos I installed some myself. We aren’t always blessed enough to camp near suitable trees and when you need to use poles, the tarp lacks suitable attachment points. 2. The included guy line is pretty short, maybe 7-8 feet each? I have plenty of paracord to use, most of us do, but it would be nice if the included lines were maybe 1-2 feet longer so I didn’t have to supply my own. You can always bundle up extra cord, but you can’t add more to one that’s too short. 3. Stake/cord bag color. The tarp is exactly the same color as the little bag for the stakes and cord, at least with the olive drab one. I’m sure it seemed like a good idea during the design phase but in reality it’s not great as you loose sight of the bag entirely if you toss it onto the tarp when setting up or taking down. Making the bag a different color would be an awesome change.

    It’s lighter and more versatile than a tent but heavier than some tarp options. In my mind, this is worth it. The added weight comes from the added surface area— 10×10 is big enough for a whole lot of camp options. This tarp is unbelievably versatile, before this I had a cheap $10 poly tarp that was the same size but considerably stiffer and heavier. This is lighter, more flexible, has more points for lashings, and is considerably more durable. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get more serious about bushcraft, though for beginners I would tell you to get the $10 tarp and earn your stripes first, I see no point in spending a bunch of money on a hobby before you even know if you like it or not.

    Ultra lightweight compared to similar products. Versatile from using as a hammock to making a lean to. I purchased two; one for a hammock and the other one as a cover over the hammock. Now looking for a mesh screen like product for keeping mosquitoes at bay. Once I have this last product it will be better for a good nights sleep. If making a Leanto would recommend an inexpensive but effective ground cover. Picked up a cheap tarp at harbor freight that makes a decent ground cover. Recommend buying some strong well made tent pegs . Avoid cheap pegs. Remember, you get what you pay for. Used paracord for guy lines once again using strong tent pegs. Good camping and good product in either basic camping or in a survival situation.
