The first test was in a thunderstorm with heavy rain. ( OFC I had a secondary shelter and my car pretty close. ) Used it by two person. I have to add, it worked and can be a shelter for 2 but ideal for one plus gear. 100% water proof. The wind is nothing to this tent.
2 small issues. The closing zips of the rainfall from inside are hard to reach and those plastic hooks at their end tried my patience.
Told to be 3 season. In the UK I would go with it anywhere in any season if I have a reasonable sleeping gear.
In 8 degrees , heavy rain and 40mph wind I was pretty good with a 3 season sleeping bag and a £6 inflatable mat. I did not need my coat and could not wear my sweatshirt and pants ans socks due to the weather. They were on me when I piched in the rain. All wet. Still I had a cosy warm night without any fear. I heard the noise of the wind… like a bullettrain… the constant showers but the tent did not move, did not leak. I had a pretty good night.

Overall this is a great tent right out of the box, it has nice headroom (I’m 6’1” and had room to spare) especially for a backpacking tent. The material is lightweight and highly water resistant (it also with mentioning that the regular version is waterproof out of the box, whereas the pro version is not). The included stakes are heavy-duty and better than most, also there are enough included stakes to do a standard pitch, but more can be added for an improved pitch. I highly recommend researching this tent on YouTube, because even though it is great right out of the box, there are a number of small modifications that can be made to make the tent more efficient to set up and with a sturdier, less flappy end result. The included stuff sack is on the small side and I will eventually replace it with a better one, but for the price you can’t beat it

I am very pleased with this 1 man tent. Lots of room for a tall person and ones backpack and boots. The 1st night I used this tent (Wolfberg Arch in The Cedarberg), we had heavy rain (~30mm) and heavy wind 20km/h and it withstood all of this – nothing got wet. My only advice would be to ensure that heavy/large rocks should be place over the guy ropes/tent pegs to ensure they stay in place with heavy winds

Least expensive trekking pole tent I could find.Room for two close friends or husband and wife. Will fit 2 20″ square pads or 2 25″ mummy pads. Nice and lite I reccomend.

Both lightweight and strong in storms, this tent lives up to the description. I purchased the footprint as well to offer protection to the tent floor. Once you put it up and down a few times, it literally takes about 5 minutes from backpack to pitched. Had plastic cords on the tent rather than the elastic indicated in the installtion video, but I think the plastic cord will hold up better. My personal preference was to buy 2mm paracord and tensioners for the vesitbule so that you can keep the long cords on the roof tensioners (otherwise would have to use that cord for both the roof and vestibule – the further you can get the stakes away from the tent the better, allowing for less angle on the stakes and more strength.) Held up to several showers and a strong storm with no water getting to the tent tub due to the ample rainfly coverage/extension beyond the tent tub and footprint. Might be upgrading to the new pro model to get some additional space inside – great for 1 plus gear (pack and hiking shoes) but too cozy for 2 full sized adults.

SCAM !
The tent is sold WITHOUT any poles. that’s why it is so light.
Its not explicitly written anywhere in the description that poles are not included.
