   If you have a Gazelle popup, hexagonal tent, this is a great way to protect its floor. Remember, the footprint shouldn’t stick out from under the tent as that will guide water in. You want the footprint to be 2″-4″ shorter than the tent. You can also put the footprint inside the tent to reduce wear and tear on the tent floor. In addition to using under tents, one could use this over a hammock and it includes guidelines/tiedowns for that purpose. The tiedowns have aluminum tensioners to make sure its nice and tight as well as super-reflective threads for spotting the lines in the dark, which is a nice touch. The material is decent quality, especially for the price. You’ll get several camping seasons from it unless you really abuse it. The storage bag is really nice and will protect the tarp well. Overall, this is a great buy!

   The material of this tarp seems strong, so it will keep the bottom of your tent clean and protect it from cuts and scrapes. If you have six-sided tent or tipi, this will be great. In the case of a tipi you can even set it up inside after the tipi is set up, avoiding you getting wet if it’s raining. As a tarp, it was easy to attach guy lines and set it up with a couple of hiking poles. The shape provides a really good overhang to avoid water coming in. Nice big area underneath too. About my only complaint would be the small grommets, which normally I prefer because they are harder to tear. In this case however they force you to either attach little cord loops or use thin round stakes. My v-shaped aluminum and titanium stakes wouldn’t go through the grommets so I had to attach little cord loops to each one. No problem. Note that the tarp includes nice reflective guy lines with tensioners but no stakes, you will have to provide your own. Nice color, nice price and well made.

   Es ligera y la talla M funciona bien para mi casa de campaña Naturhike Mongar 2 para 2 personas. No ajusta exactamente, pero la diferencia es mínima y así consigo que las entradas de ambos lados de la casa tengan suelo. Definitivamente la recomiendo.

   It’s not camping season yet, but I’m excited to know that I have a waterproof hexagonal tarp ready to go. I own heavier duty tarps that weigh a lot more and take up more space. The beauty of this hexagonal ta, rp is how lightweight it is and how compactly it folds away when not in use. In addition to placing it on the ground under your tent, you can also use it as a picnic blanket, sun shade, rain guard, or any number of scenarios where a tarp might be needed. The size and weight will make this an easy go-to for such scenarios. Looking forward to camping season!

   Our tent is approximately the same shape and size as this footprint tarp. I ordered this to protect the floor of that tent when we go beach camping.

   This is a lightweight, ripstop design tarp that folds up into a small space and comes with its own stuff sack for storage. The edges are double-sewn and sealed. I’m impressed with the 3000mm waterproof rating. Despite its light weight, this tarp kept water from filtering up through the sand and wetting the floor of our tent. Another positive is that it protects the tent floor from shell fragments in the sand. In addition to the stuff sack, this comes with four tie-downs that can be staked to keep the tarp in place.

   If you aren’t putting a tarp under your tent, then you’re begging to need to patch your tent up later with canvas repair strips. This tarp is a godsend for keeping your tent’s floor from being shredded by sharp stones, and for keeping wetness from soaking up through the floor and into your sleeping bag overnight. Really well made and excellent tarp.
