Windproof, but NOT waterproof. I trusted the description and ended up cold and soaking wet in the mountains. At least don’t lie in item description.

Takes up no space, and quality is much better than a little price of plastic!

I got this on a bit of a gamble, going hammock camping in Pennsylvania in January. It was in the 40s and raining the entire time, with extremely high air humidity.
I used it as an extra waterproof layer around my sleeping bag inside my hammock. Even using a sleeping bag that was probably lighter than I should have gone out with:
The bag did not tear even though I am awkward getting into a hammock and had to pull it pretty hard.
The hammock got wet, I did not.
The air was cold enough that I needed a face covering, but my body and legs were so warm that I took off my base layer.
I’ll be buying another couple of these for camping and emergency use.

Durable. Cord locks for drawstring on sewn loop near top of zipper. Heat reflective material printed on fabric into pattern with small space in between. Heat reflective non insulated. Water will pass through nylon in between printed Heat reflective material. Is not water proof in the slightest. Definitely worth the money. Does everything stated other than the waterproofing.

This is pretty quiet and adds some r value to your bag. Light weight and resistant to water. Easily reusable but I feel like the price is high compared to others I have purchased without noticable differences.

This worked well in a TRAINING environment. It did not break or tear when I had sticks at my feet. Zipper seemed pretty sturdy. I had to pull the hood down around my head to keep air out. But overall it did its job. I will say at 34 degrees F… I was not super toasty. But I did not get super cold either….Shivers yes. I used this in combination with a tarp with reflective heat surface.
If you are stuck in real life…build your shelter lowest to the ground. It keeps you from having to heat extra space with your breathe.
