   I got these for my trip to the beach so I could set up my tent. They didn’t come with a drill but I didn’t end up needing it because these wouldn’t hold in the sand anyway. The sand was too soft to properly secure my tent. I will save these for use when I want to secure my tent into regular darted ground.

   Includes a nice carrying case. Like the free-spin of the plastic anchor — makes holding the stake easier while using drill. Free-spin also helps when driving the stake to ground level. Selected the white plastic option for the snazzy glow in the dark feature.

   This is my review of LCGAOYA 10PCS Camping Tent Stakes Heavy Duty,8 Inch Screw in Tent Stakes. I ordered this product for my wife who moves the mobile chicken coop around the yard. As part of that process the fence needs to be moved as well as the grazer. She was using a sledgehammer to pound the steaks. Now it is much easier for her with the help of these steaks and a cordless drill. The drill screws the steaks in effortlessly and removes them just as easily. You will need a drill powerful enough. A 12-volt drill did not have enough power, so she used a 24-volt cordless drill that did a great job. I believe you will be fine with an 18-volt or higher cordless drill. One note is to screw the steaks in slowly as too much speed will just cause the bolts to spin. The steaks look to be made from 3/8-inch lag screws. They are durable but we had one bend, not sure how, but it was easy to bend back and has been fine ever since. She likes the case because it keeps everything together. The other included items such as a rope and hook were not needed. These steaks have been a great help and function as expected, so I will rate them 4 stars.

   I got this to use for my hunting blind and tents. They are super easy to use and fast to drill into the ground with the bit driver that’s included with the set. I screwed down 12 lines to hold my hunting blind in less than 5 mins. Works very well and great price for the valuable items.

   These stakes are a great addition to my camping setup and are ideal for applications where extra strength is needed. In my case, I have an old VW Westfalia campervan that I attach all manor of awnings, tarps, tents, etc., and the Colorado winds do their best to blow everything down. I keep upping my wind strategy game to cope with the winds, and now with these “screw-in” tent stakes, I’ve reached a new level of strength. I was impresses on how well they screwed into the ground using my cordless driver, and also how quickly the stakes went into the ground. No pounding! It will be interesting to see how well they work in more challenging conditions where the ground is more rocky under the surface. But so far, I’m really liking this concept. I also like that the set came in a nice carry/storage case to keep all the bits together. I also like that these aren’t the bright orange that are more commonly found on the tops of stakes, making for a more harmonious camp. They still glow in the dark to help me keep from tripping at night. Overall, cool tent stake concept that come in a nice case, glow in the dark, and are very durable. But don’t forget the drill, as these would be no fun to screw in by hand.
