Hi Cookie Verified Buyer –
This tent is great and even better that we got it on sale here on whatcampingtent.com. It’s perfect and what we’ve always wished for. Easy set up, cool looking comfy tent with all the right storage. Our favorite feature has to be the storage. It has these mesh pockets inside where we can easily place all our gear. I love the storage mesh in the entrance since they are perfect to store things like gloves, headlamps and items you want easy access to but need to store inside the tent. The color is a plus. Super cool color. We took it 2 camping trips in the summer. Had a great time inside this tent.

The very first time we used this tent, a “40% chance of rain” turned into a sudden downpour. We were cozy and dry inside, and the rainfly vestibule also kept our gear dry as we frantically scrambled to rescue our gear and dinner from the elements.
This tent is also roomy, and at 5’5″, I can stand up in the center without ducking. There is plenty of space for people and gear, with ample convenient pockets.
The tent is also surprisingly easy to set up, but probably requires two people due to the height (especially if using the rainfly).
The only word of wisdom – zip and unzip the rainfly with caution so that the zipper doesn’t catch on the fabric.

I went from a small pup tent to this and it was like moving from the slums to a country club. I would highly recommend this tent. Goes up easily, is roomy and very well constructed. Get some good stakes and a nice tarp for under it.

I wasn’t looking to spend this much on a second, front-country tent but after a lot of research, I landed on this. I was looking for something I didn’t have to crawl into that wasn’t massive. This really fit the bill. And it’s not that big, pretty packable but you’d have to really make some choices if you wanted to bring it into the bush. That being said, it would work in the bush. I didn’t buy the footprint but I might later. After an initial run of ten days in the bush, I love this tent. Worth the money. Aside from backwoods hiking, it might become my primary tent.

Winona 4 is fairly easy to put up. I did it by myself and I’m 74. Its roomy with lots of head room. It seems bigger than just a 4 man. It’s taller than I expected too. There are a lot of pockets around the tent to use to stow stuff. There are a lot of zippers to so you can change the fly and get more air if you need to. The rain fly seems strong and adequate. I am interested in using the vestibule since I never had one before. I really love that the window in the back could be used as a door which is great. The only thing I would change is extending the rainfly cover to the ground on the sides and back for further protection in the case of heavy rain. All in all it’s the perfect tent.

Excellent 4 man tent. Big enough for a queen sized air mattress if you want but there won’t be much room around it. Reasonable for an experienced camper to set up and tear down alone. It’s really nice that at 6’2″ I can stand up in the center and don’t have to stoop much to get into it. The only flaw that I have found so far is the mesh pockets above the rear door. They are anchored into the outer mesh between the two pockets and it is easy to tear at that point if you are the tiniest bit too enthusiastic getting things out of them or if you put something too heavy in there. I doubled up a mesh patch there on the inside and outside and will not use those pockets again. Other than that, I expect this tent to last a very long time.
