   I got one of the biggest i could find. It’s been shelter camping, break room, extra protection over pop up and it’s tough. It has the thermal layer reflective inner side to help keep your heat in in the cold. Fits nicely in the bag with room for some upgraded stakes i use with it.

   Boa tarp, tem uma dimensão adequada para a montagem que fiz. Acampei com essa tarp e montei na frente da minha barraca air quechua 4.1 criando uma área social ou varanda adicional. Utilizei postes que já tinha para sustentar a tarp. Peguei chuva leve a moderada e ela aguentou bem. Gostei. Essa é a segunda tarp Unigear que compro. Tenho uma outra um pouco menor.

   I ordered this just in case it rained. Holy wah did it rain! All night and all the next day. We had set up this rain fly over our picnic table and site. We were able to comfortably cook, chat and enjoy ourselves despite the deluge! Highly recommended! This is light weight, strong and easily stuffs back into the bag when the trip is over. The shape is not rectangular but works well. I would advise bringing extra cordage. A couple of poles might be useful as well. The silver lining reflects light and heat providing a cozy space on a cold, wet night. We were really pleased with this product!

   Took this out to my rainier, backwoods camping for 3 days, constant steady moderate rain the entire time and this tarp held up like a champ. Certainly not the lightest tarp or most packable (it is a pain to get back in the bag) but i put this tarp to the test and it delivered. The guy lines included are meh ok, they work for your ground anchors but you are going to want to get a heavier line (I used 4mm climbers accessory cord) for the tree anchors. Guy lines and repack is the reason I gave it 4 stars

   I bring this back country camping when I have rain in the forecast.

   It is made from a very durable strong material. It is waterproof, water just bounces right off. It’s HUGE, which is nice for setting up a kitchen and sitting under during storms.

   I love the shape, allowing me to maximize my living area and being comfortable in rain.

   I bought the larger size based on reviews. It was perfect for creating a dry space for 4 people on a very stormy, rainy day camping in the woods. It was easy to tie to trees and the shape actually worked to our advantage as some sides could be dropped down and staked in to protect from windy rain. I highly recommend this tarp. Very durable and yet light weight.

    I’m reviewing the 12×10 rectangular tarp. This tarp came 2 days ago, just before a pretty big rain storm (radar pictured.) I set it up just before the storm to test and to make sure it is waterproof. I am happy to say that it is completely waterproof and has been set up for over 30 hours of continuous rain without so much as a drop of water on my hammock (pictured completely dry!) And about 10 more hours of rain forecasted. The center seam is factory sealed. The multiple guy rings will make this a very versatile shelter in many situations like quick lean-to shelters, etc. The side guy rings make an excellent tie-off point for my bug net too! The material is not extremely thin and lightweight, but very durable and should withstand many outings of use if cared for. Extreme lightweight backpackers may like something lighter, but this is easily packable, and I needed something for FULL coverage of my hammock. And at this price, I may buy a couple more! I set my ridgeline above and hang the tarp with a mini carabiner and prusik knot (pictured) so that there’s no chance of water running down the rope and dripping on the inside. The tarp is tough and pulling it nice and tight is no issue as the seam runs on this line and is a good reinforcement for pulling. The stakes are nice and lightweight aluminum, although you may have your own stakes, and the guy ropes are nice orange and reflective at night so when you’re stumbling out in the dark you should easily see them reflect with your flashlight. The adjustable tensioners are plastic, but hold up well with minimal slippage. I only had to re-cinch them a little bit once so far. All in all, I love the green color, it looks great in the woods, and I would definitely recommend this tarp for hammock users and others.
