   While at the beach on a windy day, our flimsy umbrella did not survive. Beach goers next to us had this stretch canopy up and were not bothered at all by the gusty wind. We took down the product details, ordered it on whatcampingtent.com the same day and it arrived super fast. It sets up quite quickly and maintains stability once the 4 pouches are filled with sand (scoop included). Comes down just as quickly and fits easily in the carrying bag. Good value item.

   Hatten dieses Strandzelt jetzt zwei Mal dabei und soweit alles ok.
   Auch deutlich mehr Wind hat alles stand gehalten und es gibt bisher keine nennenswerten Materialermüdungen, da alles ausreichend dimensioniert scheint.
   Zum befestigen der Stangen wird das Tuch über die Stangen-Enden gespannt und dann mit einem Gummizug festgezurrt. Da muss man gut aufpassen, dass man die Gummizüge gut festmacht (ohne das Material zu beschädigen), da sonst bei etwas Wind die Gummizüge gern mal abspringen … und man die mitten am Strand dann eher schlecht wiederfindet.

   Wir sind so begeistert. Das Zelt ist super schnell und einfach aufgebaut. Zu zweit benötigt man ca 10 Minuten. Nimmt wenig Platz weg. Dadurch, dass man in die Seitentaschen Sand packt, hält es auch Wind gut aus. Heute sitzen wir mit Wind von 30 km/h am Strand. Das Zelt spendet viel Schatten.
   Wir können es nur empfehlen und definitiv sein Geld wert. Absolut Daumen hoch 👍

   This shade was exactly what I was looking for! We are going to be taking 4 adults and 1 child to the beach and I needed something that would provide enough shade of all of us but would also fit in a suitcase so we could can take it on an airplane. We always just buy an umbrella when we get somewhere, but it seems so wasteful. Everything came in a black bag (pictured with a Stanley cup for size comparison) and was well packaged. The bag is small enough to fit in our larger luggage, but is big enough that the shade doesn’t have to be folded a special way to fit. I set the entire thing up in my backyard just to try it out and it was very easy! I am about 5’3” and I was able to do all of the steps by myself (even reaching the top of the poles). I was also able to stand up under the tent without bending over. My husband is taller than me and he was also able to stand up under the tent, although he did have to bend a little at the lowest parts. At first I was a little frustrated by the directions being vague about where the poles go, but once I tried it I realized its pretty forgiving about where you place them. The spikes that come for putting this in the ground vs the sand worked really well but some came out a little bent after one use. The directions also say to put the poles in the ground but that wasn’t really possible in the grass. Even without this the tent stayed up throughout a moderately windy day. I can’t wait to take this to the beach to try it out!

   So glad I purchased this. Set up was very simple, perfect for sunshade, and it fit 6 of us comfortably. This is much better than those canopy’s, especially if it’s windy, I’ve had bad experiences with those breaking or getting blown away. We had no issues with this tent, and it was a bit windy when we used it at the beach. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for an easy shade cover.

   Super easy to put up, love how much less space it takes up than a traditional tent. Low to moderate wind was fine but when we had pretty windy day at the beach, it collapsed. So I guess if you’re expecting high winds, not a good option. But other than that, it worked great. You will want to use shovel to get hole deep enough so the pole isn’t too wiggly.

    We took this on our vacation to Mexico and it worked perfectly. Four loungers were shaded the whole day. It was a little windy but held up just fine in the wind. For the price it was good quality and I’d buy it again.
