   These stakes are tremendously sturdy and held up to pounding with a sledgehammer. We used them to keep in place a warping old piece of wood edging in the garden. Once in the ground, they don’t budge. Great product, especially considering the reasonable price.

   So much better than a tent stake because it goes deeper and holds better (grips). Easy to put in but I would suggest to the manufacturer to bend with a flat spot on the top so it is easier to put in without a bounce. Not a biggy but I need all the help I can get with a hammer. I use these a lot for securing fencing to the ground so critters can’t go under and also to hold our greenhouse and other small buildings (carports) through the winter winds. These are also shaped well so you could use it to secure landscape and cinder blocks. They are a little lighter duty than regular commercial rebar but will work great for most uses.

   Heavy duty metal stakes that are 11.5″ tall. It has 45°sharp cut at the bottom for easier staking as well. Hook is 1-1/4″ wide and uniformly painted to not worry about it rusting. I tried to bend it with my hands and looks solid just to emphasize that these are indeed rigid. 100% recommend. Caution: please be careful as it has sharp edges at ends including curve end!

   We are fans of the products we have received from Kingsyard. We enjoy the quality that they instill in their bird feeders and houses we have used. We were surprised to find these garden J-stakes from them recently and decided that they had to be reputable even though it seemed to depart from our normal product expectations from them. These rebar stakes are considerably thinner than others we have received, but definitely chunkier than other wire-based stakes we’ve received. We use various styles of metal stakes to hold down the wire cages we build to protect our saplings and young plants from deer and vermin damage. Lighter cages can use smaller stakes while larger cages that might catch the wind or be prone to knocking over by animal collisions need thicker and longer stakes to keep them in place. These 12″ long stakes are perfect for our intermediate cages. The tight bend in the J-shaped rebar assures good securing of the cage material (usually wire fencing). The cross hatch pattern typical in rebar provides grip in the soil to maintain its depth. These rebar stakes would also be good for securing lightweight canopies and temporary structures as well as tents and wind breaks. Once again, Kingsyard for the win.

   We’re in a wind prone area and there are times in the winter where we worry about losing a section of fence. With some 1/4″ synthetic winch rope, we’re creating a few tie-down points along the fence to stabilize it in high wind situations. These rebar stakes are perfect. Like a tent stake driven in at an angle, these allow me to postpone re-building the fence until spring. The ends have been ground to a chisel point and the almost 1/2″ rebar is folded into a 180 degree bend that grabs the earth and gives a solid point of contact. I like ’em. I can see other uses with patio covers, popup canopies, and other semi-permanent structures that need a little help remaining in place. Simple, effective and stout.
