You get what you pay for. Yes it works cutting down the wind on the beach. First time we used it the mallet head fell off, cheap. No big deal, just had to glue it back on.

I like the height and poles, that’s it. They do not sew a seam on the bottom or top. It unravels. Sewing around poles not strong. Rubber mallet provided is nice and small, but you need to put a nail or something because it unscrews. I’d only buy this again if it was better quality. Comes unraveled.

First time using it the mallet broke. I simply brought a new mallet, used it a second time and one of the posts broke. Can’t replace the post because the fabric is stapled to it.
I continue to use it and just pile sand up around the broken piece.
Maybe if I’m bored one day I’ll attempt an repair.
