I got these threaded tent stakes for a recent camping trip, and I’m really impressed! The spiral tips and hook design made them super easy to screw in with my cordless drill, even in tough ground. They stayed firmly in place, even with some strong winds.
What I love most is the convenience—no more struggling with flimsy stakes. The set comes with a handy storage bag, so everything stays together. Whether you’re setting up a tent, canopy, or awning, these stakes are a solid choice for reliable ground security. Definitely recommend!

Wow! These heavy duty long tent stakes can be drilled in the ground with included drill bit! Can’t ask for an easier way to hold things down 🤩 I got these to secure Halloween blow up decorations because the wind claimed the life of a big inflatable cat I had up last year. Now I’m prepared- the stakes are similar to rebar, very thick and heavy with ridges.

These stakes are awesome. I have similar ones, but without the rubber bumpers and tie down points, but still screw in, and I like those a lot too. These take it a step further with the extras I just mentioned and it includes a storage pouch and magnetic nut driver. Whether I’m securing a tent or a holiday inflatable decoration in the yard, these stakes make life easier. I just get out my impact drill and drive them into the ground. Even if there’s a rock in the dirt, these stakes drilling action usually helps to displace the rock and it keeps going into the dirt. These are more secure and easier to install, in my opinion, and better quality. The price point is ok for these. Long lag screws tend to be a little pricey, but they work well

We recently picked up a canopy, and as we live in close proximity to the Windy City, we can get some pretty big gusts of wind. I knew we’d need some above average stakes to help hold this canopy on the ground, so I picked up these four to see how they work.
I believe they are going to work well. During my test run the dill was able to sink these into the ground and the result was some pretty strong anchors for our tent. My concern is with the fact that these are basically 10″ long screws, so if the ground is too soft, there is no way these will be secure enough. For that situation you’d need something like a corkscrew tent stake to hold everything down properly. However for most situations where you have decently hard ground these will work fine. I was impressed with the rubber washers on each one, to hold the stakes down tight, and the fact that that provide the correctly sized drill bit, but they also give you a small wire brush for cleaning off the threads when you are done. They come back out of the ground easily as well, if you use a drill on reverse.
Overall, these are thick heavy duty tent screws that I like for most situations, but if you will be dealing with soft ground you might want to look elsewhere.

These ground screws are suitable for medium to hard ground, or soft ground with light loads. Very hard ground will be challenging but should be fine, but these won’t go into stone, nor will they stay very long in sand.
The driver bit makes quick work with a good driver or hammer drill. Using these to secure a starlink mini tripod to the ground with an amateur radio antenna o top for windy conditions. Works well.

These are essentially wood-screw type stakes. The driver to use with a screw gun is a nice touch.
Will they be effective in soft ground? No, probably not. The “corkscrew” variety would be better for that. These would probably be more useful in rocky or compressed clay soils. The cleaning brush is a nice add, since the threads will likely gum up. You could also potentially drive them through asphalt, if, say, you’re setting up a canopy in a parking lot.
We’ll see how useful they are. I have several canopies that I provide to political candidates for poll greeting purposes, so I’l have an opportunity to evaluate these more thoroughly in May. I’ll report back if I come to any conclusions that I didn’t make here, or if I have corrections.
For now, four stars.
