Just absolutely amazing! Had a large cedar two story playset put up in the backyard on what is Delaware River gravel base. The stone is so soft from being river washed. It’s actually great for around the swing. It just happens. That’s my entire backyard! Anyway, got rid of four giant oak trees this year so there’s lots of roots and my soil is known to have a lot of clay asphalt From the original development in the 60s. So I wanted to anchor the play set down and have never had any success in these anchors. Well, I came across these guys and they seemed a bit pricey. But I said you know what you get what you pay for. Well let me tell you something these things eat through ground that most things just don’t penetrate. Had trouble on one, but I went forward and backward a number of times applied some pressure and it found its way and I was able to sync all four corners! Just a great product and the tools and attachments they give you Are just an added touch. The driver is perfect and worked outstanding in my 20 V Dewalt drill! So don’t get sticker shock buy these things!

Kept my cheap shed from blowing away in 55 mph gusts. Used 4 anchors crisscrossed over the roof with straps. They have to be exerting at least 300 pounds of down force per anchor because the shed was blowing away with me holding it down and I weigh 200 and that was when the winds were only 30. Its been 2 days and the shed is still there with pretty constant gusts all day and night. Really high quality item. 10/10 satisfied. I think the shed will blow apart from under the straps before these anchors fail.

I just got around to building the base of our 8×10 shed on blocks and figured that in a strong enough wind there might be the potential to cause it to lift. The 2 foot rods looked to be fairly solid and install was quick and painless. My impact ripped these into the Chicago suburban soil without much issue. The set did come with a drill bit, a hex socket for the ground rods and one of those universal multi fit sockets for the lag bolts. I could have gone without the drill bit and the universal multifit socket to save a few bucks but I guess if you don’t do this stuff often it was a decent add. Your still going to want a decent impact to get these into the ground.
