A good size for parents and 3 kids. Haven’t tested waterproofing but good air flow. Not too large for state parks

Took this tent to Yellowstone for 3 nights with the family. It is easy to set up and the two doors are nice to have. The full fly kept heat in at night (40’s) and the rain out (2+ inches). It was a little snug for all 4 of us with gear, but not too bad. My only gripe is the zipper for the fly is really low to the ground when fully closed and hard to reach from the inside without brushing into the fly or ground. In the mornings, there was condensation on the inside of the fly. Still, overall a good tent for family camping.

Broken elastic string for one of 2 tent poles, fresh out of new package. Made our 1st camping trip with this new tent very miserable.

The fabric is heavier than less expensive tents. Very well made with quality seams.
This tent is only 10′ x 10′. It would be better if it was 12′ x 12′. with a 2 person air mattress ( tall type ) it gets tight. MY fault, not theirs. I will be a good weekend type tent for 2 adults.
you may want to purchase longer steaks than what comes with the tent. Please consider the type of soil you would be pounding them into.
Happy Camping!

I used this tent during a backcountry trip for elk hunting. It is super easy to set up, that’s for sure. It rained the second night though. It was barely windy, and all of the seams on the sides of the tent leaked. Waking up with wet clothes to put on is not a fun thing. Maybe a thick coating of waterproofing will help. Maybe flexseal.

Had a taurus 4 person tent for backpacking fantastic for 2 people. Required a larger one for car camping. Getting older been doing all types of camping for almost 40 years in all types of weather. Only drawback poles are fiberglass and the floor must be protected. Otherwise a good investment

They sent a tent that had a defect in it. It was a 1/2 hole in window mess Which they knew of because there was a tag on the tent say so. The product never should have of got out of their factory. It should have been quarantine in a non-conforming area.

The tent is very easy to put up even for this single very pudgy old guy. From what I have seen so far the tent is well made. I have a personal irritation when I fold up a tent and can’t get it back into the stuff sack. After a single use the seam in the stuff sack has torn. I wish Alps would have made their stuff sacks a bit more generous.
