   We had bought this for a trip last summer that was cancelled (thanks Pandemic!). The tent had been stored away all winter and we finally got it out once we had some nice spring weather in our backyard. We were really impressed at how simple this was to pop up, no major parts to assemble. The size was perfect for two adults and you could easily have a couple of kids or dogs as well comfortably. We liked how light it was which will be great when hauling stuff on the beach when it’s hot and the carrybag is a slimline design. The construction seems sturdy and the mesh vents well placed. It comes with sandbags to weigh down which seem easy to fill if on the beach and also empty out. For the price we were really impressed!

   Very easy to put up and relatively easy to pack away. I can tell you even with the Australian wind in the afternoon it ain’t going anywhere – very sturdy.

   I did a tonne of research and looked at reviews on many tents before buying and I’m very happy. This one ticks all the boxes:
   -sand bags
   -net vents to keep you cool so it isn’t a sweatbox inside
   – easy to put up and easy to take down
   – looks pretty nice too
   – secure pegs in the corners so you feel pretty safe knowing it won’t blow away like an umbrella

   My only improvement would be it would be nice if it was a bit deeper so that by midday / afternoon when the sun is right above you, your legs wouldn’t be so much in the sun.

   Pops-up in seconds. Folds into a compact tube for transport. The attached sandbags are ingenious. Unfold one side, fill with sand and close up. To empty, fold the top back by detaching it (velcro), lift up and the sand empties.

   No doubt this was user error since I viewed so many options before purchasing but I thought I had selected the option that was 5’ at the center. I did not so it is shorter than I expected.

   For the size this tent is great — easy to set up and very lightweight. Unfortunately the strap broke off the 2nd time I used it.

   The window is very low so if you are sitting in a chair it can be difficult to see out. The window is designed for lying down or sitting on the ground.

   It is big enough for two adults/chairs and a personal size cooler.

   Overall — I think it’s a good deal for the price point just be aware there are other — slightly larger options that may be better.

   The proprietary quick pop-up and take down made things so much easier for a quick set up at both campsite and on the beach. We tested both! Worked for humans adults/kids and dogs. Great purchase; came with a carry case, and has ventilation, ground cover, and UV protection. Would buy again.

   I have used this sun shade tent on lake and ocean beaches. Is very easy to put up and fold back down. It is very light and easy to carry in the bag but also when I need to reposition the entire tent while it’s open. A great breeze flows through it the windows, keeping me cool at the beach while sitting or laying in the tent. On one very windy day, the tent was catching the wind like a sail. It flexed and the tent was fine, but not staying upright anymore. I just turned the whole thing around so it was open towards the sand dunes and the wind didn’t cause any more problems. I still had a great view of the ocean waves through the windows. On another beach day, a sudden storm blew up before I could put the tend down. I had to fold it up in gale winds and heavy rain. It was difficult but since the fabric is strong and poles are so flexible, there was no damage to anything. I highly recommend this sun shade tent made by Alvantor!

   Shipping was fast and perfect because we were going to the beach the next day! It was surprisingly easy to fit into trunk with enough room /width to put other stuff. At the beach, it took us only a few minutes to set it up. Putting sand into the side pouches let the tent stay stabilized. Good idea!! It fits two people very comfortably and maybe can fit a third too. We only had two people, so we were able to bring in our igloo and bags inside as well. Compared to our last beach experience, this time we had a lot less weight to carry on our shoulders!! The whole thing does not weigh much at all. We took a video from the inside of the tent so you can see how big it is. The three screen windows really cooled down the temperature inside with the nice breeze. When we had to pack up, we followed the instructions by squeezing the top of the tent in less than 2 min- Great !! No hassle at all…Overall, we are satisfied…worth the money!!

    This is an absolute must have for beach or lake days! I pulled this out at the lake for the first time today and honestly was a little hesitant because I was worried about how easy it would be to set up. The description did not lie! Set up was SO easy! And taking it down was just as easy! Because let’s be honest, who wants to be fumbling around with a tent when it’s hot out? Great protection from the sun as well! It kept me pretty cool in 100 degree weather. Definitely a must have!

    Súper fácil de armar y guardar. Está hecha de nylon así que no se le pega la arena. La sacudes y queda súper limpia. Protege bastante bien. Pensé que las ventanas tenían algo para cerrarse pero no, es totalmente abierta. Ventila muy bien pero no tienes mucha privacidad. Si la recomiendo.
