   This beach tent is very roomy. We are fortunate enough to have a creek on our property but currently do not have a shade structure. This is perfect for temporarily proving our non-swimming guests a place to take shelter from the blazing Florida sun. It was overwhelming at first because of the amount of poles, but the tent goes together easily enough with two people. The fabric cover is very stretchy. At 6’5, my husband had to duck to fit but at 5″6 I walked in nicely. Once you’re done, you can disassemble the tent and put everything back in the black zippered carrying case.

   This beach shelter is large enough for my extended family and the rectangular shape means that there’s always shade somewhere throughout the day as the sun crosses overhead from East to West. I also like that I can adjust the height of one side to give more shelter for sleeping infant grandchildren by using just two poles. The fabric is very elastic, not like the stiff plastic of other beach shelters and tents I’ve owned in the past and it comes with two sand shovels and ground pegs for use off the beach . Once set up winds can blow through even on blustery days without blowing the tent away However, do note that keeping tension in the canopy requires stretching the sandbag legs pretty far out, so this may not be suitable for very crowded beaches. And the poles are 6”5” so fastening the elastic cords over the fabric around the top of the poles might be a challenge for height challenged people. Putting the poles in at a slight angle facing the wind direction will help and also give greater stability.
