Good idea and the design of this shade tent. however I don’t think the materials are of the best quality. I don’t think this canopy tent will hold up for a long, long time. It does offer a pop-up design, which is quick and easy to get set up however, it does move around a lot in the wind.

UPDATED to say customer service was excellent. They reached out and offered to replace the item and I really appreciate that.
Got all the way to the beach after 90 minutes of traffic only to open this from its packing and find two rips in the area where the poles feed through. Made it difficult to even put together. Poor quality if it being shipped ripped it- twice! Retuned it.

Once you figure out how to use it it’s so easy to put together. We usually keep the cooler and our personal bags in the tent and whoever doesn’t want to be in the sun takes their beach chair or tanning bed in the tent and chills inside. And to take it apart take less than 2 minutes (if the wind isn’t blowing too hard of course!). I definitely recommend this!

Ordered this item when there was an whatcampingtent.com coupon. It went up easily but the channel where the poles go ripped in 2 places. I’ll be returning for a replacement and hoping it was just a bad one.

I ordered this cute beach tent for my 6 month old and it arrived torn and missing a piece of cloth needed for the front portion to stand up. I wish I had tested it out before arriving at the beach. We had to turn around from our beach trip because I needed shelter from the sun for the baby. We wasted $65 and 5 hours of driving for our trip. Please consider spending the couple hundred on a reliable tent. I couldn’t return it because I had surgery and didn’t have the ability to send it back.

This fit 3 people comfortably as well as all of our belongings. The instructions weren’t very helpful so we looked at the picture and figured it that way. Only complaint was we couldn’t figure how to secure the extra shade onto the poles so we had to improvise. Otherwise the wind would easily blow it away.
