It’s waterproof. The water puddles up on it when positioned as a scoop but when it’s drawn over a tent, the repeated pitter patter of rain eventually spatters through with time.
It’s performing <pu3000mm.
Which isn’t all bad, it’s more breathable and lighter to fold up, but for rain it would need an additional fly or something for the moisture on the inside of the tarp.

Overall it seems well made but good lord this thing stinks. You ever have a dog that expressed its anal sacs? It smells like that! So this weekend I plan to hang it outside to hopefully air out that nasty. I will try to remember and update after a few uses

Bought the largest model of this tarp, it holds well in high winds and it didn’t rip off. I installed it next to the lake’s shore, we’ve has some really stormy days, and the tarp held well while my expectation was it would break in the wind.
The size advertised is the true size you’d get, the 13ft long it’s really what it says.

Easy to hang and assemble. Would be better if it came with a carrying bag to keep it all together in. It was just shrink wrapped.
