   Our old tent collapsed at the slightest sign of wind, which caused huge issues last time we tried to go camping. I liked the wind raiding listed on this one and hands known the brand to be reliable, so we decided to make the switch. Setup is about equal with our old tent. I can do it myself but it’s a huge pain. It’s much easier when my husband and I work together on it (as long as we can keep the kids occupied and in sight long enough). Once set up, I noticed right away that it feels much sturdier than our old tent. It’s very roomy for a family of 4 (two adults and two kids under 7 yrs old). It fits or written sized air mattress, and their twin and toddler sized mattresses with enough room left for or hear. During the day we stack their mattresses on ours to make for extra room. I have an inflatable couch that I set up during the day as a cozy place for the kids to chill out while we make food. The tent is tall enough for my 6′ tall husband to not feel cramped. Best if all, it can handle more wind than our previous one and stay standing. We haven’t used it in 35 mph wind yet, but I’m fairly confident that it could, indeed handle that with some better spikes.

   The Coleman 8 man sky dome tent can fit two queen size air mattresses inside and still have plenty of room. Large door makes bringing camping gear in and out easy and the center height of the tent is 6′ 2″ which is a plus. Great tent for the price!

   The set up for this tent was super easy. The instructions are sewn into the generous carrying bag (yes, the tent went BACK inside easy with room to spare!). It took myself and my 13 yr old son to pitch this tent, and after we laid it out flat, it was easy peasy. The design of this tent is fantastic. The fiberglass poles are all attached securely at their “starting points”, and the other side has heavy duty nylon pockets they’re inserted in to. This tent truly goes up in 5 minutes. The material is durable nylon, and waterproof….but I will spray tent waterproofing on it anyways as I do all my camp gear. The seams are all taped. It’s got lot’s of interior storage pockets; hanging hooks; an e-port; tons of space; great ventilation; and two mud mats. Excellent family tent and great value.

   Great tent, easy to assemble, 10-15 minutes on my own, less than 10 with some help.
   Very spacious, comfortably held a quin-size and a full-size inflated mattresses and a big dog along with some big bags.

   It will take more than 5 minutes to setup for one person. The first thing I didn’t like was when I was putting one of the clips onto the pole, it snapped/broke very easily (see picture). I was still able to pitch the tent and overall it was easy to setup. It comes with already attached poles which you need to pay attention to when unpacking for the first time so you can repack it easier. The tent hight in the very center touches the top of my head when standing (I am 6ft tall). There’s plenty of built in space for items. It took me around 10-15 minutes to setup, but I think setting up/tearing down I should get it down to 5 minutes by myself. It does not come with a footprint so you’ll have to buy one separately. I was able to tear it back down and put it back into the bag with relative ease. The reason I give it 3 stars is because the clip broke so easily on a brand new tent. This tent is good for those who like a lot of internal space. I can setup two queen size air mattresses. What they can do better is make stronger clips, make it a little taller, and provide a footprint. I’m might keep this as a backup tent in case my main tent has any issues.
