I’ve been overlanding for almost 30 years. Dometic is typically a high quality, go-to brand. When I decided to ditch my roofrack awning for a portable, I chose this from Dometic over a Big Agnes of similar design but with more features based on my prior experiences with the brand. But first field use (we practiced set up and take down at home prior to our trip as is our usual) the cords inside the poles started showing slack making it very hard to connect the poles and set up.
We made it work but will probably return it.
