1. The Outdoor Adventure Chronicles Verified Buyer – 15 June 2024

   We purchased this tent for our latest camp adventure and liked it! It comes with its own case, is extremely easy to set up, and is roomy enough to fit two camping cots comfortably inside. The only two minor downsides are:

   1. The size of the tent when it is packed. This is not a great backpacking tent. It takes up quite a bit of room when it is folded and tucked into its cover.

   2. When it came time to pack the tent away things got interesting. All we will say is that it takes practice. Guys, from one man to another, now is not the time to prove you’re a man. Don’t try to figure it out on your own – just read the directions or watch a video to make things easier on yourself!

   The tent itself is good. Just consider how you’ll be using it before committing to the purchase.

   We used this tent in 4-day camping trip with a walk of 10-miles to campground. This tent was so easy to set up. I do recommend practicing closing it as it can be tricky. Is lightweight, but unfortunately it cannot be put inside a backpack. My husband ended up hanging it from outside his backpack for the hike. The quality is amazing and has enough space for four people. We were able to put all our stuff inside without loosing comfortability. It fits a queen size mattress and has room for other things. It has 2 windows and two entrances, perfect for two to have their side of the tent. We were in an environment the temperature dropped to 30°F and there was no condensation sipping through. The only thing I would’ve love is more hanging loops inside or pockets and a tent tarp included. *the big circle in the photo is the tent closed*

   Having only had experience with one and two man tents designed for backpacking I wasn’t sure what to expect with this larger tent. It’s too big to back into a backpack or tote but worked great for two people and a dog car camping at a campground. Easy to set up and tear down, well made and designed, and spacious, this tent is the perfect fit for novice or experienced campers alike.

   I got a dark blue tent instead of the orange color I ordered as advertised. Dark blue colors absorb more heat than the orange color shown here in whatcampingtent.com. They show only orange and green option, yet they gave me blue which is not even in the color options. My excitement with this tent was dampened the moment I saw it was dark blue. I wish they gave what I ordered. Now I had to return it after checking.

   I really like this tent. There is no perfect tent, they are relative to the type of camping you are doing. I wouldn’t hike a 15 mile day with this in my pack. But for a short hike or car camping this is a super simple tent to set up and pack away. Just 2 minutes. There is plenty of room in this for 2 people and like any single wall tents just don’t touch the sides I it is raining out and you won’t get wet. The ventilation might be able to be improved on the vents but for the price I’m happy with the design and build quality. This is my new go to tent for car camping. Especially if it’s just a night or 2. The set up and pack up is so easy

   Honestly a pretty good pickup as it can fit 4 people comfortably and 2 if you really wanna toss and turn. Easy to assemble too considering it can all be turned into a backpack sized carry-on. Overall pretty sturdy and can withstand decent winds so if you ever wanna go camping for a good deal, id recommend this tent for you.

    First time using this tent and it did not disappoint. Its easy to set up and put away, plenty of room and is indeed waterproof. Took it to go camping and a rainstorm came passing by at night and there was no leaks anywhere in the tent.

    This tent was a WHOLE EXPERIENCE and an adventure all on its own. We pulled into a KOA in Shreveport Louisiana about an hour before the sun went down. It took me about 2 minutes to pull the tent out of my car because we were packed in really tight. 11 seconds to unzip, and POP, the tent narrowly missed my face and up it was! Another 2 minutes to tie down and we were good to go! I am not mechanically inclined in any sort of way, and my brain does not automatically get how things move or fold sometimes. If you’re like me, please read on. The next morning, I figure we’ll do all the things before packing up, so I make a quick snack breakfast for.me and the kid, pack up all the electronics and food, and around 9:45 AM, I start to put the tent away. I understand basically how this should work, so I wrestle the tent to the ground and… 10:00AM I’m getting frustrated enough that my daughter runs over from the playground to ask if I’m ok. Of course I’m ok, I’m just learning the tent. 10:15 AM I throw the lightweight, waterproof wondertent for the first of several times. My windshield sunshield folds just like this. Surely, I can make it happen. 10:30 AM I’m sweaty, pi$$3d off and ready to scream. I’ve sat on the dam thing, wrestled it every way I can think of, and EVEN READ THE INSTRUCTIONS by this point. 10:45 AM I sit down to pause for a few.momenta and smoke a cigarette. YouTube might have the answer. OMG YouTube has the answer. I watch the videos of people doing this alone each 3-4 times. 11:05 AM I should have checked out five.minutes ago but here we go! Attempted several times, then rewatched one video in slow motion, and got it! We were out of there by 11:45 😂😂😂 The next morning, after camping in Dallas, it took me about 10-15 minutes to pull up stakes and close it up. It took me 2-3 tries to close it this time. It rained the night before, and I had to shake off the tent (very easy) nd wipe it down a bit because my tarp was wet, too. We stayed dry all night and the wind didn’t bother us at all. Was a lovely experience! This tent is absolutely fantastic and now that I know how to fold it, I’ll be loving it even more! Moral of the story: practice putting the tent away BEFORE you go camping, and watch videos if you need it. Don’t be late checking out of a campground because you’re too stubborn to take the time beforehand 😂.
