Good quality tent. Easy to set up. Good amount of room for family of four (two adults, two smaller children). The bags it comes with are not very good. The main bag overall holds the tent well, but the pouch they built to hold the stakes is simply too small. Literally just won’t velcro close because it’s too short for the stakes. The footprint ground cloth for the tent comes in a mesh bag that disintegrated on our first use. Everything else seems to be holding up well. Overall I really enjoy the tent and how it set ups, and it was nice to have good quality stakes and a footprint come with it (you’re paying for that with this version of course), but it was disappointing to see the stake pouch not work and the bag for the ground cloth break immediately. Still recommend overall.

Setup in less than 2 mins with one person. 2 more minutes to attach rain fly. Recently got caught in a storm with it. 30 mph gusts. One wall collapsed in but after tying a guy line to it no problem. Durable under strong winds. It’s huge and heavy, only issue with it.

This is by far the easiest tent we’ve ever had for set-up and take-down. There are loads of little unadvertised design features — small “eaves” over the top and sides of screens to keep out dribbles of water; the cover flaps over the windows (on the inside) don’t go all the way down which provides a “drip catcher” for rain so it doesn’t come in via the zippers; small flaps over the door zippers (again for rain protection); 4 large storage pockets plus an overhead storage. The rain fly goes on and off really quick. I’m 6’1″ and had no problems with headroom. The upgraded stakes on the overland edition (together with the ground cloth and carrying bag) are well worth the small added price. When packed, it is big (and heavy) so make sure that you are OK with the packed size (68″ long) if you are in a small car. The door shape (narrow at the bottom) takes a bit to get used to, but it’s really the only way to have the door given the design of the support structure.

I love this tent. It’s easy to set up and take down. We got the Gazelle Overlander. It comes with a ground sheet, metal tent pegs, and an oversized, heavier-material bag. The whole thing, including the fly and the ground pegs, took 10 minutes. There is a stand-up room and lots of room for a full twin-sized extra-large cot. We also have the Gazelle Gazebo, and we love it.
It is big and heavy. We use it with our small trailer for extra sleeping room. It is stored inside our trailer on one of the small twin beds along with the Gazelle Gazebo. I researched this tent and the Gazebo all winter to make sure they were worth the money. They are more than worth the money. Great investment.
I’m looking forward to next year’s adventure.

Absolutely love how easy this is to set up and take down. The quality is great. I love the 2 layers you have for the base of the tent to protect it and keep water out. I used in this summer and the air flow is pretty good on it. I have a rechargeable fan that easily hangs in the center of the ceiling of the tent. Has several storage pouches that make things a lot easier as well.

I was in the market for a replacement for my old REI 4-person tent. It was several years old and worked, but was a bear for one person to set up. I stumbled on the Gazelle in a YouTube video and ordered it.
First, the negative: The packed size is HUGE! (And heavy!) I have a small SUV (Nissan xTerra) and the tent can’t even fit between the rear of the front seats and the rear door; It has to fit at an angle. 1/2 star off.
Positives: I love the easy setup; It truly is easy for one person to set up. I love, love, LOVE the 360deg views from the windows!!! (One of my pet peeves are tents where you can’t see anything on some sides.) The airflow is excellent and the tent stays surprisingly cool in the sun. I haven’t rain tested it yet.
Everything about this tent screams quality. I can see this lasting many years. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.
