   I almost didn’t buy these poles as they didn’t have many reviews on them and I’m so glad I did. They look and feel premium. The twist locks work well to lock in and my tarp stayed up add day and night with a little bit of wind. I’m confident they will hold up over time. Pros: Super light. If you’re trying to cut weight in your carry bag. This is the ticket. Strong hold. The twist locks are super strong. I don’t see these poles coming down unless you forget to tighten the collars after you set up your tarp. Cons: The carry bags do not have any loops on them to use to hang the bags from the poles so you don’t loose them. Value: I think for the price you can’t go wrong. These are going to stay in my kit and I might grab two more.

   I ordered the 210 cm/ 2.1 m version of these, as the height matched my application perfectly. However, they are shorter than advertised by about 7-8 cm. The tip of the grommet point is nearly 210cm and perhaps this is what was meant but this is not what the photos and description seem to show. Apart from being a little short, (I may end up ordering the longer size to get that last few inches of headroom), they seem nice and sturdy. I bought these as they collapse smaller than many other poles of similar lengths and fit into the bag with my Nemo bugout shelter I purchased them for.

   Item came shipped without the 2 x tent thimbles has mentioned in product description. Disappointing experience. Just be careful when purchasing this as you may not receive this as others have mentioned.

   I had searched through quite a bit of different tarp poles before finding these. The features that stood out most was the carbon fiber design which keeps the weight down, and it’s telescoping height. For that, I was willing to pay a little more. I’m glad I did because they are perfect.

   I’ve tested them in strong winds and they held up nicely. I didn’t get to see how they perform in the rain yet, but hope to soon. The only slight annoyance is the twist locks. Mostly because I haven’t use it enough to know which way is tighten or loosen haha. Comes with some nice neopreme cases that hold each pole seperately.

   Used it on a recent trip and wasnt disappointed. They’re compact enough to have fit inside my backpack, adjustable with ease. The only thing is that the section can get a bit stuck when extending or collapsing. Overall the materials feel pretty good, the locking rings do their job, it’s definitely a must in my arsenal as I’ll never camp without a tarp ever again.

    The ring lock design of these poles is an absolute failure. With the slightest breeze, the poles kept sliding back together. I could not get the ring locks tight enough to prevent that from happening. The poles slid together in a rain storm. Everything under the tarp got wet. It got worse at the end of the trip. There was a large temperature swing from hot to cold. That change in temperature made the ring locks a challenge to turn. So now I had trouble getting the poles to slide back together. This product is trash! I will return them.
