So I when I saw these on whatcampingtent.com I got excided that they were so inexpensive compared to the name brand ‘Ground Dog’ , and ‘Ground Puppy’ screw in tent pegs. we’ll now I know why they are so much cheaper, the quality. these are supposedly made from cast aluminum, but even for aluminum, they feel super light weight. but compared to the originals, which are stainless steel, it makes me a little worried to use them to hold down my very expensive canopy. I used the smal ground screws on the feet of my 10×10 easy up I was in the middle of adding the guylines to keep the tent anchored, when the wind picked up snapped the peg and tried to flip the tent. We were there to catch it from roling completely over but it was too late the damage was done, two legs got bent and now the tent is useless. now upon inspection of the part there is some discoloration where the screw snapped, making me think the casting had a crack in it from the beginning. (see photo) also the casting is rough, but not a deal breaker. so yeah, I don’t know if you guys will replace just one peg or if I have to retur the whole set. but I hope this all works out cause the product is great, in theory.

The first time use of a medium screw, broke right away. It was in dirt, but it was not that hard!

As an avid camper and outdoors man I’ve been though the trials and tribulations of crappy tent stakes. But finally, no more shenanigans every trip. These have worked great. The 3 sizes are exactly what I needed to be able to find the perfect stake. Clips make sure whatever needs holdin down, gets held down. Excited for many years of service from the kit!

I used these to secure a bounce house in a windy area. I had been using concrete stakes rounded into clay soil, but those did not prove to be secure enough and we’re difficult to remove. Being able to use an impact driver to install and remove was a huge benefit to my back. I only wish the hooks were a bit more substantial or possibly made of steel.

Good assortment of sizes and worked great as the main anchor for my 10×10 and for the secondary anchors for guy lines.

Used these for the first time last week. Had strong winds come up and these held like a champ!!
Screw in easily with a drill and hold well.
Totally recommended…

They are made out of some kind of cast aluminum. One was already broken when I received them, two more broke the first time I tried to use them. Save your money, I have no idea how there are so many good reviews. I think people review stuff before they actually use them.
