I recently purchased a large tent and was surprised that the supplied tent stakes were so lightweight and not very usable in rocky ground. These stakes solved the problem. They are strong and long and can be driven into rocky ground using a heavy hammer. the lines are also sturdy and have the advantage of being very visible at night when illuminated with a flashlight or campfire. The only thing some people may find as a negative is their weight. They may be too heavy if you are a backpacker. But they are ideal for me as a car camper needing firm anchors for a large tent.

We purchased this for camping in Joshua Tree NP. This held our tent secure in the gravel and high winds

I bought these to replace some of the ultra flimsy tent stakes that came with some of the camping supplies I bought. I am SO glad I did. I built a temporary “glampsite” on the coast for a month, and we had some 35mph gusts that came up over the course of our time. The lot where we pitched our campsite has no trees or permanent structures, so everything had to be setup with tension lines and poles. These stakes were my saving grace, and I only had one come out of the ground in the heaviest wind, and that was because it had a bit too much tension on it. The ground we pitched in was very soft, right next to a wetland, so I can say that these stakes are truly heavy duty and reliable! I will be buying more for next year’s glampsite adventure!

Bought a canopy for our car shows. The stakes that came with it bent the first time using them. Definitely needed to replace. Bought these to try and these are perfect. These should come with the canopy. Hammered these in the ground and worked great!

The product came packaged well and the rope wrapped neatly. The stakes seem to be very well built and way sturdier then the stakes we had. I would recommend having a hammer to drive them in though as they are thick. The rope seems to be good quality and enough length to tie a rainfly on most tents. Only used once so far but seem like they will last a lifetime.

I just used my tent stakes and ropes for a 2 week camping trip in the Oregon mountains. Both worked great. The stakes are long, strong and hold a tent or tie down ropes MUCH better than the flimsy aluminum or plastic stakes that come with most tent. The reflective ropes are strong, easy to use and reflect very well to keep one from tripping over them when it’s dark.
