- THE NEW MATERIAL – We have significantly improved the fabric quality of our tents. From now on, we use 40D High Tenacity Polyester with Double Ripstop throughout all our tents. This fabric has a higher tensile strength than regular polyester yarns. Accordingly, our new tent fabric has a higher tear strength. In addition, it is lighter, falls better, rustles less and is softer to the touch.
- INFLATABLE STRUCTURE – Setting up our tents works intuitively and follows a simple principle: Unroll, inflate – done! The special feature: the inflatable frame, inner and Flysheet function as a unit and do not need to be assembled. With a pump, the tent can be pitched in less than a minute and offers space for 3 people.
- GEODESIC PRINCIPLE – The Cave XL 3-Season owes its outstanding strength to its geodesic dome construction with ten crossing points – this guarantees excellent stability – even in strong winds.
- MORE SPACE – The Cave XL has a footprint of 5.4 m² (comparison The Cave: 4.8 m²) and offers plenty of space for 3 people + gear, while reducing to the size of a 30-litre pack. It is the perfect base camp for adventures in the car or for expeditions where transporting gear in a pack or trailer is an option.
