This thing is big. It gives you a lot of shade, but it’s also pretty heavy and big. It’s not something you were going to pack out with. This is for car camping and other things where you deliver your gear directly to the site this is not a backpacker item.
It’s very old school set up, which is to say paths and guidelines and your old method of tensioning so it’s gonna take a while to set up and this is not some quick deploy thing which I guess is OK but I kind of thought they have better and more quicker ways to deploy something like this now. I mean it it’s gonna take a considerable amount of time to set up all the guidelines and tension them man get the polls positioned and if you’re one person this is a very significant ordeal.
The item quality seems very decent and the actual fly portion so far looks durable and well-made.

This is the perfect rain tarp for camping! I have been looking for one of these for quite a while for when we go camping so we can sit out in the rain. Our RV does not have a cover up space so I got this to act as one. It came very well packed and secured and everything was perfectly as described in the ad there were no missing parts or pieces and nothing was damaged from delivery. Everything was perfectly as described in the ad even down to the measurements so it’s the perfect size that I thought it would be. The instructions are clear and easy to read and my husband and his buddy we’re easily able to get this put up and ready to go. They said it was pretty simple and straightforward. After trying it out my husband determined that he would be able to do it by his self as well. He said it’s not too difficult everything is pretty simple and straightforward. Very happy with the quality and the craftsmanship. It’s super heavy duty and durable. Not lightweight or easily breakable and it does not easily blow away in the wind. Super thick tarp and I can tell it will not easily rip a hole in it. It’s definitely waterproof we got to test it out the other day and stood under it in the middle of a storm! It’s definitely amazing and a solid 10 out of 10 in my opinion! Worth every penny
