   I mean this tent isn’t the worst I’ve used, but it’s not exactly something I’d rave about either. The aluminum poles feel super lightweight, like, kinda flimsy and to be honest, I wouldn’t say it’s worth what they’re charging. Maybe $70 tops.

   It does do the job in terms of keeping the sun off, and I really do like the color. But setting it up alone was a bit of a pain. I managed, but barely. The sandbags definitely helped keep it from flying off into the next zip code, so I’m glad those were included.

   If you’re just using this for a quick beach day or backyard chill and don’t need something heavy-duty, it might work for you. But if you’re expecting high quality or strong wind protection, I’d say keep looking.

   I acquired this beach tent through Vine.
   I was interested in the product for use on an upcoming family vacation we have planned for 8 adults and 5 children.

   My wife and I set it up quickly in the backyard just to make sure it would work well on the beach.
   It was a little cumbersome to be honest. It relies a lot on the tension created by the outstretched canopy and weighted/staked legs to keep the poles in their upright positions. Unlike a more traditional and heavier canopy, there is no framing between stakes. I’m just glad we’ll have a few extra sets of hands on deck to set this up on the beach.

   I am also hoping to get more use out of it beyond our vacation. I could see this potentially being used in the yard to provide some sun protection while I’m doing yardwork in a dedicated area, whether pruning, weeding, mulching, planting, or chipping in the same spot for an extended period of time.

   These beach canopies are great! So much easier to transport than a pop-up canopy. Poles go together easily . Using sand to weigh it down is easy. Nice bright color.
   I did not get photos of it up but it is really nice.

   Awesome canopy for the beach. We enjoy using this due to it being lightweight, easy to setup and take down and withstanding the aggressive winds. It’s a great tent that’s very versatile for any event in need of one while sitting a good number of people as well. It comes with everything you’ll need for setup, great product for those looking.

   This is a massive sun shelter! It’s a little difficult and heavy to carry to the beach, so it’s ideal if you have a car or at least a person to help. However, the payoff is great because it can fit so many people under it!

   I guess I misunderstood what this was, but I didn’t expect 4 folding separate light poles that you just stretch a tarp over. That can be pretty flimsy and unstable, especially if wind catches it, which there’s usually a lot of wind at the beach. But it might work well in some situations to just provide basic shelter when you can’t carry too much, such as when remote hiking & camping, and it can be stuck in the sand or ground wherever you want the poles to go, or where they can fit since you have placement options, which might be handy in uneven areas. So as an emergency or temporary shade cover that is small and portable when broken down, it’s a decent solution. With the difficulty in stretching the cover tight enough and securing it so it can effectively serve as a reliable canopy, I just wouldn’t think of it as a typical full-size tent shelter which are much more heavy-duty, yet can cost almost the same amount, so this seems pretty pricey for what you get.

   You have to make sure the tarp is really stretched tight to keep it upright when putting in the poles. It took me two attempts to get it right. I like how compact it is to carry and it comes with a duffle bag. It comes with 1 canopy, 4 aluminum alloy poles, 1 canvas zipper carrying bag, four stakes and 1 sand shovel.
