I watched a video on You Tube about the assembly process and it seemed very easy. It was easy to assemble, lightweight and most important, kept the mosquitos out. I thought about purchasing the one person tent but opted for the two person for the extra room. I was glad I did. I was camped on a low incline and I rolled around the tent all night. It would have been a nightmare if another person was in the tent. Sleep by yourself with a little extra room in case you want to bring your pack inside.

Easy straight forward set-up and folds up compact and the 3 man is light enough for motorcycle adventure riding.

My husband and I took this on a 2 night, 17 mile backpacking trip and were so pleased! The extra space allowed us to bring our packs in during a rainstorm but kept us nice and dry. Quite lightweight compared to our previous 2 person one which was much appreciated on our trek. Our daughter also loves it for a quick backyard camp! This tent will be taken on many more adventures! Zippers and seems are high quality, set up was very quick and easy, and it ventilated well while raining and 85 degrees!

This might be the easiest tent I’ve ever put up and I’ve done a fair bit of serious backpacking under many different conditions. It’s also super light weight and I think would work well for multi-night hiking/backpacking trips. Both nights of our recent camping trip rained and it was unseasonably hot and muggy for August in upstate New York but this tent did keep us and our stuff dry. My only criticism is that in conditions where you cannot keep the fly open due to rain, there is only one hole for ventilation in the fly when fully zipped up and the tent was pretty hot overnight. There was only two of us and we managed ok by opening the front flap of the fly between bouts of rain but ventilation could be improved upon.

So far so great – have used in trips amounting to six overnights now. As advertised, it’s a solo setup. I’m 5’11” 180lbs and have just enough room to lay the sleeping pad on the bottom with a little room left over for boots, water bottle, spring/fall jacket at foot of tent. You are not going to bring much else into the tent. The fly is just big enough to cover my medium size pack. A big wow for me was this tent sets up and takes down in just two min. tops.
Also well thought out was the small pop out window on the wall side opposite the door to allow air circulation and a very cool “shark mouth” stuff sack to put the tent into when packing up. My friends were impressed with the tent. ease of setup and breakdown, but when they were wrestling to get their “3 gallon” tent into a “one gallon” stuff sack they really appreciated the shark mouth stuff sack.
For solo light to medium use, I don’t think you can beat this tent!

This is the perfect little tent! I have only used it for car camping, but hope to eventually test it out backpacking. I am 5’6 and with my sleeping pad and bag, I still had room for my duffel bag at my feet. I can sit up and not hit my head on the tent roof. The side pockets are handy for storing a headlamp and other quick access items. I recently used it without the rainfly, and the mesh is see through for stargazing at night. I purchased the tent with the footprint to protect the bottom. It’s excellent for what I need on solo adventures!
