This company has been consistent in making good products but, I would say this isn’t one of their best. First off, instructions are okay except the pictures. Very dark and not very clear. Material seems flimsy and after putting up once, straps that connect to cover look like they are starting to separate. I am going to wait and see but, don’t feel very confident it will be very durable. I love the concept and design as I attached this to a Ford 1 ton Econoline with no issues and a lot of extra strapping. Feel this could easily attached to a high top Transit or Sprinter van.

Easily set up solo. Did not budge in rain/windstorm. Telling all my friends. This is my 5th product attempt for a suitable awning/shelter for my teardrop trailer. Finally a keeper, might get a 2nd for the kitchen..

I like it so much I went and got the backroads version too. Depending on where I’m going I’ll pick which one to bring along, I McGiver it to go over my Gazelle tent or other tall tent as well as the gazebo since my dogs are contained there sometimes I just want to sit outside without having to open and close zippers and of course you can attach to the car, van etc. I’m a 66 year old woman that camps mostly solo and have no problem pitching either one all by myself, I’ve never broken a pole and is been under substantial winds with no issues. My only concern is the poles that are inside the pockets touching the ground getting much friction in windy conditions but that’s solved by either placing a mat under or simply saving a couple of plastic lids like the ones for juice, putting them under those 2 poles and staking it. By the way it’s been under rain and there were no leaks above so as long as there’s no wind you can be under it and stay dry or prevent water from coming inside your vehicle if windows or doors are open. Great product, I highly recommend it.
