This is a very professional hiking tent, only weighing over 700 grams, but it requires manual work to apply waterproof glue to the seams, and then a very perfect tent will be obtained.

Setting this tent up is quick and straightforward, even when you’re alone. The lightweight design is ideal for hiking and trekking, but the added feature of sealing the seams yourself is something to keep in mind. The space inside is enough for a comfortable night’s sleep without feeling cramped. One minor point is that the included instructions could be a bit clearer for first-time users, but it’s manageable. The materials feel durable, and it holds up well under windy conditions, making it a reliable choice for outdoor adventures.

Let’s get straight down to it – Although I’m not a Tent Maker, or profess to know a great deal about Camping Equipment, I just think it’s a bit strange that any Company like “Telomat” are allowed to sell part finished tents as new? I say this because the instructions state quite clearly that you need to Seal the Tent Seams yourself, due to it not being able to be done during the manufacturing process because of the special double-sided silicone fabric? There is a Video on the whatcampingtent.com Advert that shows you how to do this, but if you’re not confident, it may put you totally off buying it! Apart from this quite Big Inconvenience, the Tent itself is Great Quality, Very Light (at just 690 Grammes) and Looks Professional. It’s going to be Perfect for Backpackers, where every inch of Space and ounce of Weight is at a Premium. Price wise, for the 4 Season option that I chose in the Khaki Colour, it’s selling for £169.99, which I guess wouldn’t be too bad for a Professional Tent if it was totally finished and you could use it straight out of the bag – But, this isn’t the case, so I do think it’s overpriced by about £40 or so? Overall, it’s a shame you have to Seal the Seams yourself, because it’s Potentially a Great Tent. However, I’m going to have to only give it 4/5 Stars because of this! Thank you.
Doesn’t work at all! Can’t see sun Verified Buyer –
I sealed the tent according to instruction And used it in our northern Michigan trip. First day is OK second day It rained for a few hours the inside of the tent is completely wet. Now I can’t even return it because the instructions threaten me that it will have zero refund if used, not in original condition

I got this ultrlightweight tent for my husband. He and his brother like hiking, camping, and prospecting up in Cherokee National Forest. It’s become a tradition since 2007. It’s a pretty good tent, albeit a little on the expensive side.
I recommend this ultra-lighweight single person tent.

This camping tent is particularly lightweight (less than 700 grams) and very easy to put together
The construction seems excellent and also the finish of it. The fabric is thin but resistant
The manufacturer claims that the fabric is waterproof but it also indicates that one needs to seal the seams by yourself
I did not completely understand the reasons for this but you must have this in mind. If you are planning to use it right out of the bag, this is not possible (unless you are camping in a sunny place where there is not chance for rain) otherwise you must use sealant to apply on the seams
After this, it is really waterproof
In a few words it really is a great tent if you have the do-it-yourself part into consideration, which in my case, was not a problem
