I just bought this and used it over the weekend. It rained both days. I used a typical “A” frame the first day with plenty of room for myself and gear. the next day I went with a “plow point” setup. the results were the same. plenty of room and no leaks either day. For the price and quality you can not go wrong.

Lightweight. Waterproof. I do question its quality. Out of the bag I noticed one seam is failing. We were camping that night with threat of rain so I did keep and use it.

This review is for the black/silver version of this product:
I originally got this to use as a floor in my floorless hottent. It does an amazing job at that, being waterproof and quite durable. I also use it as a shade/rain tarp and can create quite a large area of coverage. It rolls up small and fits into a pouch for easy transport. It came with some guy-lines, tensioners and tent pegs. The pegs were pretty poor quality (as with most ‘pegs included’ products these days) but don’t let that deter you.

Works so well bought a second one for another family member. Great for sun shade, hammock cover, and additional tent protection for those foggy/”rainy” wet redwood forest camping mornings. Made keeping dry while packing up on the last day so much easier as we were able to take everything down under cover.

I bought this tarp to go over my outdoor tent to ensure no water leaks into the sleeping space while camping on a mountain during monsoon season. The tarp material is very thin. I don’t think it will hold up well if used often in places with stronger winds. The poles also seem a bit flimsy, but they did stay in place. The tarp performed as expected, and kept water out of my tent through multiple heavy rains which lasted anywhere from 15 minutes to well over an hour. I anticipate having to buy another tarp after a couple camping seasons, but I will continue to use this one until it wears out.

I don’t usually “luxury camp” so this was a treat. Lightweight, good looking, and good size to cover a picnic table with some extra space on the sides for chairs and gear. I did have trouble getting it up alone, so an extra pair of hand would be helpful. Or maybe it’s just my learning curve. (I set it up a little diferent as I was stringing a ridge line for the tent as well.

Worked great in the rain and 10 to 15 mph wind gusts. Would be nice to have two more posts with it.
