Second MSR tent I’ve owned by MSR. Cascade Designs owns MSR, Therm-a-Rest & Platypus. Needed the rain fly repaired/replaced on my original Freelite 2 tent. Contacted Cascade Designs for warranty service via their website. Received an automated response that my request would be handled in the order it was received. It has been 2 months with no response from Cascade Designs. The Customer Service phone number is useless, it only directs you back to the online warranty service request. It is impossible to actually speak to anyone at Cascade Designs. AVOID ANY PRODUCT FROM CASCADE DESIGNS, THE WARRANTY IS WORTHLESS AND THE PRODUCTS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.

This is a good lightweight tent. Super lightweight. I lived in it on and off for a month. 11 days straight. Everything functioned well. . Good summer weather tent or early fall. I had it covered with a tarp. Simply because of the extreme condition we were in. Condition was a issue. Although we were in the clouds and 100% humidity for days. All and all great supper lightweight tent.

VERY lightweight and compact. Easy to setup and take down. Excellent air ventilation when guyed-out properly. Currently using it for outings on a Caribbean island. Just have to take proper care of the tent and fly, as they are extremely thin and most-likely easily torn/ripped, but haven’t any issues thus far.

Very thin (paper thin) and lightweight. I purchased the footprint separately to make sure the bottom had more protection. It is quite small for 2 people. I am 5’8” normal weight woman and I’m not sure another person would fit comfortably without spooning all night especially with our packs. Someone over 6 ft might have an issue with the length so I would check if you fit before you purchase. Easy one person assembly. Had a hard time figuring out the fly because the instructions on the tent bag weren’t clear about the fly for me. But in the end figured it out.
Not 5 stars because of that and the fly doesn’t fully cover one side and I’m worried about rain protection. I haven’t had it out in the rain. Will update when I do.
All in all, great tent.

Zeltunterlage muss man extra dazu kaufen.
