   The quality is great. Light weight and durable. The only thing that gets annoying is when the wind dies down and the material falls down and blankets you. I wish there was an option to buy one that allows you to stake the other end of the sail down.

   I thought the shade was pretty pricey at $295. But, it is fairly easy to put up and break down and it is a life saver as i live on a rather windy island. Umbrellas often go airborne! Its very light weight and it provides lots of shade, while not blocking any view of the beautiful Gulf Of Mexico!

   First, consistent windy is a must have or you will be in the sun.
   Second, even with full windy it felt hotter than under an umbrella. I felt the heat on my skin; even tough I was probably not burning.
   It just did not feel as comfortable (cool) as under the umbrella.
   On the plus side, it’s lighter to carry, easy to setup and gives more shaded space.
   I am going back to the umbrella. :/

All moms….it sets up with one person,Packs easily in a suitcase, gives tons of shade, is Light weight and survives alllll levels of wind!    I’ll preface this comment with the fact that I’ve been a happy Shibumi customer for years. When I heard they launched a new quieter version of the shade, I figured I’d give it a try. I must say, the new canopy is noticably more quiet compared to our previous shade. We purchased both the classic and mini sizes and used them on a family trip to Jekyll Island. The shade was a hit and worked perfectly well, as expected, and our friends liked it so much they ended up buying one for their family. I can’t recommend this product enough! Pros: Ultra light weight Quick setup and takedown Tons of shade Cons: Requires additional attachment if there’s no wind

   Money well spent less than 10 minutes to set up! I saw a lady moving her’s with the sun. You don’t have to do that you just unsnap and slide it takes one person to do it all! Pro tip use the damp sand to fill the bag it’s heavier! We are so excited to have this! Makes going to the beach more fun. It’s so light! I could keep writing more good things but, I will run out of space! Buy this! Make beach life fun!

    Used the Shade for the first time on a vacation to the Hamptons after being referred to them by a friend. Beyond the amount of shade (had more than enough for myself and girlfriend), it was extremely easy transport and set up. I bet I could’ve carried 10 of these from my car to the beach if needed. The initial set up was pretty intuitive and only took a couple minutes too. Some additional things I learned that you really only realize while on your trip: + It can actually fit in your suitcase — was a huge help transporting since I was coming out of state + It works with very little wind — one day there was only a slight breeze, but it worked great and we didn’t even need to pull out our wind assist accessory. I was surprised how little wind it took to work + It felt like an investment at first, but after seeing the daily rental prices for umbrellas (which I find to be lower quality), I’m pretty confident I’ll come out ahead price-wise Overall pretty satisfied.
