I spent 2 days of heavy rain and wind in the tent. I have a small wood burning stove that kept the tent pretty warm. I wish it was bigger for more room. It is really a 1 man size tent with a stove. The stakes are cheap and bend easily that can be fixed. The lack of a snow flap at the doors lets in wind and rain. All said it is a good hot tent.

With OneTigris making the best tents out there ( just my opinion ) this tent didn’t disappoint, pitch up in 10mins you can fit two Campcots inside but having this as a one man tent is ideal if you like space, I had a Campcot table and a chair with room for a stove and rucksack, the iron wall tent was my number one go to tent but this has by far replaced it and trust me it had to be great to replace that one I highly recommend this tent.

for starters, this thing took me over an hour to set up for the first time because it doesn’t go up as quickly as you might think. That said, I’m convinced I can get it up in 15 minutes or less with more practice. The positioning cord certainly helps but getting a perfectly round circle is next to impossible on your first try especially by yourself. my main complaint is the size. Every video and photo I saw made this seem much bigger than it is in real life. Sleeping two people in this tent with the stove would be very uncomfortable. sitting more than two people without the stove, would be next to impossible in my opinion I was hoping this would be bigger. On the plus side, the materials are extremely high-quality and very durable. This tent gets hot! Despite its drawbacks, I will be keeping it and look forward to using it in cold weather camping conditions.

It’s easy enough to set up. All the stitching and zippers seems good quality. Used it when it was 5 degrees Fahrenheit along with a homemade ammo box stove and it did great was able to take all layers off except for t shirt and was warm.

I have not set this up yet but I did open box and made sure everything was included. Seems like everything is there and looks and feels well made. Giving this a five star because I know what this hot tent is and whatcampingtent.com had exactly what I was looking for.

I love how quick and easy this tent goes up. The manufacturer OneTigris is well known so I felt I could trust them over some lesser known companies, and I was right. For example, the flap that covers the stove jack when not in use, some manufacturers roll it up above the stove chimney where gravity or wind can cause it to get too close to the pipe. On this model it rolls down under the chimney. Small insight that I don’t understand why others don’t do. Each door has 2 zippers making it easier to get in and out. Getting the door closed all the way to the floor is easiest standing outside. Having a second zipper allows you to unzip from the top 3/4 of the way down, step in through the opening and then zip back up. To zip it all the way to the ground from the inside you would have to get on your knees or lie down to reach. Not fun if it is wet out. So thank you for the 2 zippers! The molle loops on the bottom of the door flaps are very useful when you open it up to create the overhang out front. It is the perfect place to hang your lantern or I hang my thermacell to keep the bugs away. Great quality through out the teepee. Glad I “upgraded” to the cloth version as well. It keeps the heat in longer, and blocks the sun out better.

I took it out camping solo. The weather was supposed to be dry, with rain a few hours later. The weatherman was wrong. What else is new? It was raining the entire time.
This tent is VERY waterproof, including the snow skirts. Literally wipe dry. I used a shop towel to just push the water off of the snow skirts. On the sides of the tent, the water beads but does not penetrate. It rained all night and not a drop inside. The stove jack did what it’s supposed to do. Very happy with this tent. A breeze to put up, too.

I’ve been waiting for years for a tent like this to hit the market. After camping in the old Polish surplus lavvu tent for a few years, I was ready to upgrade to something more spacious. I knew that I wanted to stick with canvas, and the options out there are limited… and pricey. This tent from Onetigris fits my needs and my budget. For my first trip out I spent a week in Northern Pennsylvania, where the nighttime temps dropped into the forties. My stove kept me warm, and the tent kept me dry after a night of steady rain. Setup is simple, and my first impression of the components is that they are of good quality. I only wish that the entrance section of the tent had a snow skirt to seal out the cold. The plastic retaining toggle for the stove jack cover also melted from the heat of my chimney. I guess I’ll have to find a metal one. Other than those details it has been a great tent.
