   Very happy with this purchase! I love that there are 8 “legs”, not just 4. I was afraid the legs would stick out too far and get in the way of people passing by, but once it was up I didn’t feel that way. The shovels that came with the canopy were great to fill up the weight sacks, love that it came with 2 shovels so we could work as a family to get the weights filled. The grass stakes it came with are good quality, they screw into the ground. We’ve used in sand & grass, the canopy held up great with both. Very quick set-up, even with 1 person..even faster to break down! I LOVE how easily it fits in the carry bag, there’s even enough room for us to put our mat in the same bag. Only issue so far is that there are already pulls in the fabric, strings are starting to hang off the sides of the “legs”. It hasn’t affected its functionality thus far.

   Loved this beach shade! Took it to the beach and had no problem setting it up quickly. Best tip to making it stable is to pull the fabric as taut as possible after filling the sandbags. Then you can raise it with the posts. It definitely works best on days where wind isn’t too strong. We had one day when hurricane Milton passed south of us and gusts were up to 28mph and the canopy would flap but angling the posts sharply did help some. It never fell over though! Easily fit four chairs for the adults in the shade with four kids playing in the sand also still in the shade. A couple of issues we had were the post joints would stick somewhat and not come apart if sand got into them. Also I wish the posts were height adjustable because angling the shade did not work well simply by taking two posts out.

   We bought this product right before a family trip to the beach. The canopy is pretty lightweight and the carrying bag it comes with makes it easy to get down to the beach. The first day we were there, the set up process was really smooth and we had no issues with the canopy coming down at any point. It provided much appreciated shade in the 90+ degree weather. The next day we were there, it was quite a bit windier and we were constantly having to adjust the poles because no orientation that we tried would get the canopy to be completely stable – it just kept tipping over with each strong wind gust. We did eventually get it to a pretty okay spot, but it took many hours of slight adjustments here and there. I will also mention that at 5’11” I was too tall to stand under the canopy without it just resting on my head. I would try to stand under it while reapplying sunscreen and it was just constantly hitting me every time. Overall, I still give this product a 4/5 stars since it is cheap, lightweight, and not terribly difficult to set up. These pros outweigh the cons of the short height and difficulties in the wind.

   Fantastic this tent works amazing on BC beaches! We put it up actually on a very windy day and only had to adjust the weight once by burying the sand feet under the sand. We love this It also helps defining your space on the beach no one runs their frisbee or ball through you!

    Super easy to set up, could easily be done by 1 person. We used at beach, can be used anywhere really, as long as you have something to put in the weight bags. Poles are sturdy, quick set up and tear down. Excellent design. Best part is that it all folds up small enough to take along in a checked bag or as it’s own carry-on. We’re really very happy we got this.

    This was the perfect size for us (2 adults, 1 teen). It was so easy to assemble and held up very well. It provided good shade. We didn’t have any problems with wind. However, we did get a heavy rain for about 5 minutes so it got soaked. We all had to keep the water from pooling on top and as mentioned, it’s definitely not waterproof. I was worried the heavy rain/fabric drooping might cause problems with the fabric being stretched out once it dried, but it was fine. We really like it!

    I’m glad we choose this model with 4 poles to give us maximum height. I especially like that it comes in a carry bag that includes 2 sand scoops to fill the weight bags with. There’s enough room in the bag for my 10 x 10 blanket to stuff in there as well.

    I purchased this for a trip to Florida and I was very satisfied with the product. The set up was easy and quick, and it provided enough shade for our family. You can angle it as they say in the description or you can put up all 4 sides, whatever works best for the shade you need. It was worth the money as it was very sunny in Florida and this was much needed. This fits about 4 people comfortably. It’s tall enough to also stand in. It was even easier to take it down.
