I didn’t give it all stars because the instructions weren’t very thorough. The tent has eyelets for the single pole that went down the middle but the other two poles had a hole bolt on each corner that goes inside the poles. That wasn’t indicated in the instructions. I mostly set it up by myself and that wasn’t too bad.
I also suggest you buy strudier tent spikes which I had already done. The ones that come with the tent are cheap and bend quite easily. It also didn’t come with a rain cover so I can’t say that is is waterproof. I imagine with all the seams it may leak with a heavy rain. So I’ll be looking for a rain cover to be prepared.

I was setting the tent up in the garage this am… laid tent fabric out on floor, inserted fiberglass rods in both sides and top, raised one side, was raising the other side, heard crack, one rod broke off with fractures running a couple inches from the end. I removed rods, rolled up the tent, put it back in box, got return order from whatcampingtent.com and dropped it off at UPS. Warning! I noticed when I started inserting the rods into the sleeves on the tent that both thumbs and index fingers on both hands felt like they had tiny slivers on both hands. I couldn’t see anything but scraped them with my finger nails seemed to remove whatever was pricking them. But as I continued inserting the rods, I felt slivers in several other fingers and had the same experience several times until I stopped handling the rods. It’s been 6 hours since then and I am still getting the sliver feeling when I pick things up or type on my iPad and continued scraping has made the feeling less and less. Not a good experience… hoping for full recovery! It’s been 2 days and my fingers are still stinging. Absolutely need to wear gloves when handling fiberglass rods!

Considering the price, it’s a 5-star product. We enjoyed using the A/C in the Tesla and in camp mode. The tent stayed nice and cool with no humidity. The Tesla’s hatchback seemed a bit too large for this tent, but it might have fit better if I had pulled it closer. Overall, it works well and gets the job done. The dogs liked the tent being cooler than outside too.

It’s larger than expected but actually very simple to set up. The poles are color coordinated and instructions are clear and easy. Although the stakes are very weak and flimsy will need some heavier duty ones. Will update after I take it camping.
