   I love this thing so much! But the damn zippers break after 4 uses. We sent it back tried another one and the zipper never worked on one side. All they need to do is add a better zipper and this would be an amazing purchase.

   I was surprised by how spacious the tent was—it was even bigger than I expected! Setting it up on my own was pretty easy. The material feels like high-quality PVC, sturdy yet flexible, and the transparency is great—you get a clear view of the outside from inside. I also love that it has a small ventilation window, so even when the entrance is fully closed, it doesn’t feel stuffy. We added some string lights for decoration, and it was such a cozy spot to hang out and chat with family at night.

   Clear vinyl material became brittle and cracked on a 40° f. morning. Also poles for the upper dome did not fit correctly and did not provide effective support.

   I hate writing negative reviews about products but here it is. Although this shelter keeps you out of the elements, it has issues. It leaks at the seams, each and every seam above head so if using when raining, be prepared for water to enter. Also, it’s prone to develop mold in each place that has stitching. finally, the plastic material ripped along the zipper doorway, and I’ve only had this thing for about three months. I fully expected it to last through the winter, but I guess my expectations were too high.

   My star tent arrived yesterday, and I proceeded to take it out of the box and move it to my backyard to open. I opened it up and started putting it together with much ease. I am so pleased with this star tent. It has changed my outdoor life for the winter. I get the wintertime blues and I’m already out in it this morning with my heater, enjoying my surroundings. This is a great idea for those of you that want an inexpensive way to be outdoors under a covered enclosure in the winter time.
