   What a great idea! this 3 sided tent is great for sitting outside in the summer in your own personal shady spot. I got it to take along with us on fishing trips because often there is no shade so this is a perfect solution. It’s not too heavy so it won’t be too difficult to pack along with out other gear and out 2 folding camp chairs should fit inside. The mesh windows on the sides allow for airflow and cooling breezes to waft through the shelter. This would be great to take along to those hot summer ballgames, the playground, or maybe the splash pad, giving mom a nice shady spot to sit while watching the kids frolic and play. I’m 5’4 and it’s not quite tall enough for me to stand upright but there is plenty of head room while sitting in a chair. It says it fits 4-5 adults, which, if everyone was sitting on the floor it might. But that would defeat the purpose of having it for a cooler area since all those people inside would make it almost just as hot as outside! 2 camp chairs or maybe those low beach chairs would be perfect in here.

   We camp quite frequently at sites next to the beach and at the campsite I open up a 10’x10’ canopy. But I can’t use it at the beach on the sand. It is very heavy, with lots of metal. This beach tent allows us to be at the beach, protected from the sun, especially when resting and enjoying the sound of the waves. I waited for a pop-up tent because we stopped using tents with rods and strings inside. Those are a pain to setup, although they are light as well. This tent is as light and it has the popup mechanism which makes it a breeze 2-3 minutes to assemble and disassemble. Usually I set it up, let the air blows in in all directions and put the front flap down to get more covered real estate on the beach. It is a pleasure to carry such a light and small bag and in minutes end up with a very comfortable resting place. I even experimented with our inflatable (rechargeable battery) lounge chair.
