   Setting up the shade cover was fairly easy and quick. The blue color of this tent is the same blue that is used for standard tarps. The color is noticeable on a crowded beach full of tents, so we were able to spot ours fast. The material of this product is waterproof. We are also easily able to wipe sand off the surface of this material. The size of this product is big enough to comfortably fit 3 sitting adults. The overhead covering provided a ton of coverage against the harsh UV rays. We also stayed much cooler by hiding inside the tent when the sun got too intense. Unlike many other tents, this one was not too difficult to fold up and store away. One feature that I really love is the zipper opening at the bottom. There is a zipper that exposes the bare ground below the tent. This might be useful if you need to use the bathroom out in the woods, but you need privacy. The price of $69.99 seems fair based on the size and quality. The product is lightweight and easy to carry from the car to the beach. The material seems durable enough to last one year.

   The Xixikank beach tent is super easy to setup, but takes some practice to master taking it back down again. Fortunately, the tent comes with a set of step by step instructions for putting it away. The first time I had to put it away, I struggled a bit and spent about 10 minutes looking at the instructions and trying to follow them. After doing it a few times now, I can get it put away in just a couple of minutes. The tent is big enough for 3 or maybe even 4 people, but most comfortable with 2 people. The side walls of the tent have zippered windows so you can open them and let sunshine and air flow into the tent. The walls also have a pair of zippered pockets for storing items while you’re out swimming or playing in the sand. The tent also has a zipper on the bottom floor, which is handy for letting sand drain out before putting it away. The tent also comes with guy/guide ropes and screw down stakes so the tent won’t blow away. The corners also have pockets on them that can be filled with sand to help weight it down. I also like that the tent comes with a carry case that can be used like a backpack. The bag fits the tent perfectly. There is also a smaller bag for storing the tent stakes and ropes.

   I was afraid I would not be able to set this up and take it down by myself, but it kind of sets itself up. You just unfold it and it springs out. Getting it folded back up was also doable by myself, although not quite as easy as the set up. I took it down to the river and set it up on the gravel, it held up just fine, the dirt/sand did not stick all over inside the tent, a good shake and it cleaned it all out. It’s a good size too. I lounged in it, but I think you could easily put 2-4 adults sitting in there without issues. It’s a great value for the price point and the carrying case it comes in is super handy.

   Good size tent for adults and folds up to a manageable size. This is great for hanging out with our young baby at the lake and its very roomy. Its so easy to keep clean especially while she plays in the sand. We were going to buy a tarp but didn’t want to commit to the set up or the price and this is a perfect alternative. It is quite wrinkly after being in storage and we dont know how many summers it will get us through yet which prevents me from giving this a full 5/5 but I suspect this will last a long time. The pricing is fair and I’d definitely recommend it to a friend!

   Very nice tent. It can in a kind of shabby outer soft bag with some velcro closures that held the actual soft bag with a zipper. I opened it up in the kitchen. I unbuckled the main hold down and told the cat to get out of the way. Boom! It was mostly opened and took up all the space in the kitchen. At this point it looked like a flattened out tent. There were 2 more small buckles and once those were released it was done. A fully opened/assembled beach tent. After having opened it a few times, I’m positive I could open this on the beach in less than 30 seconds excluding putting in the stakes. The stakes would not go through my kitchen flooring but they appear to be plenty sturdy to last a long time. Folding this up required reading the instructions a few times and having my wife tell me I was not doing it right. Anyway, it folded up and fit back into the soft, zippered carrying bag. That was impressive by itself as not many things go back in the bag once opened. There are 3 zippered windows to allow for air movement. I would recommend this tent although I have no clue what to do with the zippered opening in the bottom panel.

   This is a great beach tent and is well worth the seventy dollar price. We frequently take our boat out to a small island in the Gulf of Mexico and spend the whole day there so having this tent to provide some occasional protection from the sun and wind is great. A lot of other reviews have gone into detail about setting up and taking down the tent so I will not repeat that information. I think a few important other things to know are that you should probably get some better ground stakes than what the tent comes with if you are going out on a windy day. I have long metal screw in stakes that stay in the sand a lot better than the included plastic push-in stakes. You will also want to practice the set up and take down in a controlled environment (like your living room) before actually taking it out and using it at the beach. Once you get used to using it, you will find that the test is really easy to use and that it provides some great protection when out on a long day at the beach.

   This is more like a tent than just sun protection from the beach It blocks the view, it will be hot because the breeze will be largely blocked. And the wind will violently shake it. On the plus side, it is easy to set up, and only marginally annoying to take down.

   If you are looking for a cheap tent then maybe you might be into this, but I will not be using it for any beach day.
